I was gonna go today to see him 😭

What a waste of money...

Mumbai, April 22 — Singer Sonu Nigam, who was due to perform at London's O2 arena Sunday, is disappointed after he had to cancel his visit following visa issues.

Nigam was due to share stage with Pakistani singer Atif Alsam at Dhamaka Bollywood Concert London 2012, but had to pull out after his group members failed to get visas.

"Disappointed and enraged to inform everyone that I'm not coming to London. Hard to believe that except my visa, not a single visa for my group was done. Never happened in 20 years of overseas travel," Nigam tweeted.

"Don't know whom to blame. Our entire team's time and repute has been wasted. Only if the show is postponed now to another date, would we be vindicated. Prayers everyone," he further posted.

The organisers have promised to give a full refund if you don't plan on attending the show tonight.

The whole thing is such a joke. Sonu Nigam cancels and then confirms he will perform and then the day before the show says his team has visa issues? Daal mein kuch kaala hai.

Can't help but feel for the organisers..they've been planning the thing for about 2 years only to probably never be trusted to organise a show in a place like the O2 ever again.

Lucky for any Atif fans though..they've extended his time slot.

huh...i wouldn't spend a single peny on him...he is so overrated...he doesnt' sing really well...his nostrils come out pretty bad...i once heard he redeemed the song of moh rafi...and sang these lines 'aane se uske aaye bahar' trust me they were beyond pathetic...and i vouch to care a damn abt ponu's singing...but yes he has some good songs to his credit that i can say...but as a singer he sucks !

Thanks. Yes, I saw that on the dhamaka site. That is why I decided to definitely not go.

I wonder whether the organisers will file a case againt him if lots of people cancel(not that it was a full house even otherwise).

I think it entirely depends on the real issue as to why he couldn't perform and whether it was foreseeable or not. Stuff like 'visa problems' comes under 'unforeseen circumstances' and it then becomes difficult to sue.
