They stood there silently for few minutes…geet can see that maan is still angry on that guy…and harika remained as the silent spectator all the time…
Geet:maan leave na…why are u still thinking about that??
Maan just gives angry glare to geet and kept mum..
Geet:maan why u are glaring me now…oh! for stopping you there…are u mad??if I would have not stopped u…
"I would have killed that bas***d" maan completes…
Geet cups his face who eyes were filled with anger…
Geet:maan…leave it na…I understand that u are very protective about me…that doesn't mean that….
Maan:oh!..so I would have thanked them for misbehaving with u..right!!
Geet tries to calm him…"maan….i was just trying to say that anger is always not good…"
"oh shut up geet…don't be stupid…he was misbehaving with you and you say that I should control my anger..huh!!
Look geet..i'll do the same which I did now if anyone even tries to misbehave with u or trouble u..
Geet:but maan…
Maan:geet chalo..
He then settles himself in driver seat…
Maan:geet it's already late now…get inside..says without looking at her…
Geet knows that maan wont listen to anyone when he is in anger…she knows that whatever he did is right and only for her but she wants him to control his anger..she alshave a fear that his high peak anger may push him in to trouble or he may loose evrything he have…she know that maan is in no mood to listen to her now..so she silently followed his orders and stepped inside the car..and the same did karan and harika…
Their journey was very silent which was a very rare thing when three of them are together..especially when maan is there with them but now he is in another mode i.e angry young man mr.maan singh khurana,the stub born man…they also kept mum as they knew that his anger mode will be switched on soon but also know that it will be switched off in a very less time than it took to start…maan silently dropped them at their respective places and left to KM..
Here geet is restless and continously trying to call maan as she cannot see maan like that but he forgot his mobile in his car itself…dad who came very late from some meeting heard maan's mobile ring when he was passing near his car…
He understood that maan was angry so he left his mobile in the car and also left his car unlocked..he receieved the call as it is from geet and she told everything to him…
He entered maan's room just to find him sleeping like a baby hugging the pillow..he called back geet and informed her…she took relaxing sigh as she understood that her maan is back..she too dosed off to sleep…
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------next morning:
Maan's sleep got disturbed with his mobile ring..he said "ha geetu" with out even looking at caller id..he knows that she'll definitely call him after previous night also it is her daily routine to wake him up with her call…
Geet:finally my maanu is back from angry young man mode…
"hmmm"only he could say…
Before she could say anything..he said "sorry geet...i would have not shouted on you like that..par kya karta..i was very much frustated"
Geet:hmm...i know..now leave it na..chalo wake up…don't be late today..i'll be there in 1 hour..
"hmm"he mumbled and when she was about disconnect the call she heard him sneezing.."hac-hhh"
"maaan"she shouted literally…
"now what happened??"asked maan
"maan you are sneezing..i said don't take that stupid cool drinks during night time…I knew that …but you never listen to me…dekha now you got attacked with cold and if I wont treat it then you'll suffer from fever again…maan I'll be there in few minutes…geet said in one go..
Maan:are yar geetu…just give a break na..let me speak…no need to worry yar..iam fine…it's just…"hachhh"he sneezes again..
"dekha…wait iam coming"she soon disconnects the call…
Maan:hello..geetu..hello…
Omg now she'll start her horrible treat ment..i'll better hide myself before she attacks me..beta maan chup jao..
Here geet got ready in express speed and came running to KM…
As soon as she knocked the door nakul opened it with his confused expresions..
"good morning nakul bhaiyya"wishes geet with smile…
Before nakul could wish her back she tied her dupatta in a knot sideways so that she can work without any disturbance..she ran to kitchen and came out with in few minutes with hot water in her hand mixing some thing like zandubalm in it…

She entered maan's room just to find it empty..
Geet:hmm..i knew it…
Accha maan I'll see how can you escape from me…
She smirked as she know how to find him…
"maan…maan…where are you??" she calls him very sweetly…
Here maan who is hiding just smiles.."hmmm..kuch bhi karlo geetu..today I wont be the prey to ur stupid medicine..yuck! I hate that kada and all…"
Geet finally thought that it's time to apply her formula.."haww…mera pair(foot)…haww it's burning"acts dramatically…
That's it maan came out running to her and asked with utmost concern.."geetu what happened??are u all right???show me kaha jal gayi.."
Geet started laughing before maan could realise what happened with him..
"hmm…ab kese bachoge???now let's start my treatment…"says while giggling..
Maan:geetu..u are very bad..u lied me…now I don't want this at any cost..tried to make this as the reason to escape from that as he was left with no other bahana..
Geet smirks at him and says.."I wont leave you today"
Geet starts chasing him when he started running from there to escape from that treatment..
"maan stop…maan plz stop"
"no way…I don't want any thing..iam fine.. hachhh…hachhh"he sneezes again..
Geet:ha ha I know how fine you are…maan plz stop.. y don't u understand…u'll suffer with fever if I wont treat you now…says still chasing him..
Maan:geetu nothing will happen like that…mein chota sa baccha hoon kya??tu tension matle aur muje chod do…
Geet still chasing him and bumps with aadi who just came out from his room with sleepy eyes…
"aadi plz catch him"geet ordered him..
Aadi also started chasing him and whenever he tried to catch him maan threw some thing or the other like pillows on aadi…in this process of bhagambhag aadi stepped in to the tub which contained medicated hot water which geet prepared…
"mummy…ye kya hogaya"cried aadi like a kid…
Maan started laughing loudly at aadi…and sneezes again…"haccchhh"
"haww..ye kya hai aadi??"asks geet making baby face..
"geet dekho mera dress kharab hogaya"replies making almost cry face..
She slaps on his arm and says"u stupid..u wasted my water..phir se tayyar karna padega"
She again ran to kitchen and came back with in few minutes…now she found maan locked himself in the room…
"maan..plz open the door…bas ek baar smell karo..then u'll feel releived…maan plz for me.."she tried to persuade him...
Maan nods as no and kept mum..
"ok u'll not come out na…iam going bye.." she fakes anger and turns to go…maan instantly opens the door and shouts "wait geetu"
Geet looks at him with crossed arms raising her eyebrows..
"ok..i'll do it for you…but only once ha"says making baby face…
"haww..that's like my maanu"says while pulling his cheeks…
Maan only glares at her..went and sat on bed silently…
Geet came with bowl of water…maan still making faces to smell it….he smelled it once and said bas bas…but however geet managed to complete it…
"how are you feeling now??better na" asks geet with concern cupping his face lovingly…
Maan just nods while inhaling…
Nakul enters with a glass in his hands…
"now what is this??"asked maan with terrified expressions…"now don't say me to drink that stupid kada..yuck I hate it..geetu plz Iam not going to drink this..i'll take medicines"
Geet:maan u forgot that u have allergy with medicines..so chup chap peelo..
Maan being helpless drank it in one go and made faces…
Geet:maan sleep for some time…asked when she found him feeling tired…
Maan simply nodded and slept in her lap…
Geet smiles as he is habituated with this childish maan since when he was really a child…whenever he felt tired or restless he used to sleep in geet's lap..she always used to look after his every need…as maan don't have his mom with him ;geet used to take care of him…and still today her maan remained the same…he may be young grown up guy but he always behaves like a kid…geet silently smiles at maan who slept peacefully in her lap…and caressing his hair..
Dad who was witnessing all this stood at the door smiling at his two children…geet notices dad and smiles at him…
"uncle aap…come na…dekha uncle maan phir se…"
"bas bas beta…I heard everything and watched everything…beta iam very proud of you and want to thank you"
Geet looks at him confusingly…
"beta you always took care of my maan..i know beta how a child feels when he don't have mom in his life when he/she needs her the most…but I never saw maan craved for mother's love as you people never allowed him to feel…thank you so much beta and plz never leave my maan…I don't think maan can manage anything without your help..you know you made him dependent…says while smiling..I always saw maan happy smiling from his heart whenever you are with him…"
When dad saw geet's confused expressions he smiled at her caressed her hair…
"I hope u understand the meaning in my words and realise soon…"he kissed her forehead and left the room..
Geet failed to understand the inner meaning what he meant but then thought that he might be asking to stay with maan as she is the best friend of maan and she can understand maan better than anyone….
Dad who came out smiled at geet who was in deep thoughts.."beta I hope u both realise ur feelings soon..i always saw some spark in ur eyes when u are with maan and same with maan..i wish god would fulfill my wish soon.."
Geet who came out of her thoughts smiled and said "mein maan ko chod kar kaha jaaungi??he is my bestest friend then how can I leave my maanu…
Maan waked up after an hour and felt much relaxed..it seemed he almost became normal…so both of them left to college…
As soon as maan reached college he was surrounded with his fan association but as usual he went staraight to karan and some others…when he saw harika there he smiled at her for which she smiled back…
Maan:hey harika thanks yar..yesterday if you would have not told me…
Harika:arey maan there is no sorry and thanks between friends right!i think u can accept my friendship..
Maan smiled and raised his hand for handshake and said "friends"
She smiled and joined hands…and said just call me hari..for which maan smiled…
Geet and hari shared hug and they had some masti pulling some bakra's leg..and finally it is the time for classes and most hatest time for maan…he slowly tried to move from there but geet held his arm tightly..she raised his eyebrows as if asking him where he's running?
Maan gave weak smile and nodded in no…
She held his one arm while karan held from another side…
Maan helplessly walked with them towards classes…making almost cry face…
When he noticed harika giggling at his plight he glared at her and both his devil friends…
"leave me yar..mein patient hoon kya ya koi prisoner jo aise pakad kar le jaa rahe ho muje.."he frees his both the arms…

Geet smirks at him and says"if not you'll run away as always..now let's go"geet literally pulled him...
Maan not knowing what to do walked few steps and stopped suddenly as an idea clicked in his mind…
"geetu wait mere paas toh books hi nahi hai….mein books ke bina kese class attend kar saktha hoon..you guys wait I'll get my books with in seconds"and about to run but again his plan fails as both held him again…
[geetu wait a minute…how can I attend the classes with out books??wait I'll get them]
Maan:ab kya???
Karan:tum aur books…kaha se laoge???do u even remember where did u left ur books in ur last class…at least do u remember how many books u were carrying??
Geet:karan have u gone mad???did u saw mr.maan singh khurana carrying books with him??
she looked at maan who was shamelessly smiling at them...
dont u have shame maan..u just attended two classes in one whole week and now again bunk??
Maan smiles weakly and almost scrathes his head in embarassment…
"hmm don't worry maan…ur half books are with me..and other half with karan..so you don't have to struggle much..chup chap aakar class mein bait jao..aur waise bhi you almost made us ur slaves to carry your stuff..says geet while glaring at maan…
Geet who noticed harika with confused face smiled…
"don't worry hari..u'll soon come out this confusions as u'll become another prey for lazy maan..do u know he never write a single assignment..me and karan struggle a lot to bring marks for this stupid….but I wonder how can he manage to score more marks than us..when he wont even attend classes properly but just listens whatever I explain.."says making faces..
Harika smiles while maan glares at her..she shows tongue to him as if she's teasing him and literally drags him to class room…
Maan who left with no other option followed them and sat between geet and karan who asked them to sit so that he cannot escape from class…geet asked harika to sit beside which she followed….
