"Hitler Didi" series is not different than any other drama on the TV.Big promises were made,but the way the story-line is drawn,everything seems to fall apart.The direction in which the story is heading after the case,is not realistic at all.I think we all viewers were expecting a little more emotion and empathy from Rishi's character with regards to his personal loss(i.e.his mother);his outburst at the circumstances,which compelled him to put his brother behind bars.In the real world,the real human beings don't just get over so quickly,their misery.Honestly,the character,Rishi,is absolutely deterred;he not only seems to have lost his senses,but also self-respect,dignity.If we are a sensible person,we feel the pain caused to our near and dear ones.Besides,it is beyond my understanding,why do the creator's of "HD"are in a desperation to sketch a marriage plot again-and-again?Is the soul purpose of this drama is marriage,or the struggle of life and its everyday situations with a spirit?And it seems Rishi has just one aim in life-marrying Indira!Doesn't he have anything more to accomplish in life,besides being a love-lorn Romeo?The CVs had stated time-and-time again that this is a 'different' show;not a mundane family drama.But I don't find any difference between this show and a Hindi family-drama movie.
Creativity lies in the fact that with an ordinary day-to-day life story,you create something extraordinary;a simple story like Jane Austin's "Pride and Prejudice",where a mother of five daughters dreams about her children's marriage,and one of her daughters,Elizabeth,the protagonist of the novel,despite her weak economical background,falls for a wealthy Mr.Darcy(a rather proud young man,who doesn't give away to emotions so easily);they both unite,but with dignity and pride.This is just one instance,there are many such wonderful piece of work,which has a very simple story,but with phenomenal portrayal of characters and theme.
In the beginning of the series "HD",I enjoyed the story-line,and it seemed to be different.But now,the episodes of April,has no connection with one another.Indira and Rishi have a beautiful relationship,and the CVs do not need to spoil it by bringing unnecessary drama in-between.If the story goes on this way,than I think most of us are going quit watching it;because it seems like a Mary-go-round kind of a situation.Either the story should be presented with a balance between reality and fiction,showing the dynamics of human relations from real-life situation,adding with a pinch of humor and joviality;or they should bring it to a decent end,without dragging it.
Right now I'm disappointed with story of HD,and really miss the charm that it once had,keeping us wait eagerly for the episodes.Any way,this is my view about the show,and I don't intend to hurt anyone's feelings.So,feel free to share your views.
