depends on the mistakes and whether the person/s know of their blunders. Inherent traits are very hard to change and most times individuals refuse to change qualities which they say are a part of them like - arrogance, ignorance, egoism - most of these are inborn unfortunately. Then there are other reason for a marriage failing like infidelity - and my view is if a person can be unfaithful once then he/she can be unfaithful again.
