can someone help clarify things, please?

I am from Canada and we are just at the part where VED has discovered Suraj is alive and wants to go back to him. So i have a couple of questions.

1. Is lali really Ved, and she is just pretending to be lali so she can find out what happened to her and why she went mad.

2. Is Dhruv basically a vegetable because he is under the impression she is completely mental and can see her that way in the hospital.

I would really appreciate if someone can help clarify this for me.

Yes Lali is Vedika, because she wants to know who did all this to her![Thats what the indiainfo previews suggest]

Dhruv met with an accident because he kept on thinking about Vedika's condition. Thats why he is disabled!
