Replacement stars rewrite TRPs

More recently, Shweta Munshi had been pencilled in to play the lead with Gurmeet Choudhary in Punar Vivah, but had to opt out due to "personal reasons". Shweta's playing a cameo in the same show, with Kratika Sengar playing the female lead now. Sukirti Kandpal was first offered the role of Purvi in Pavitra Rishta, but the actress cited the need for a "break"and the role eventually went to Asha Negi. The list goes on.

Of course, much like the movies, once a daily show becomes a chartburner and fetches rich TRPs, no one really cares about the what ifs. All that matters it the sizzling screen love that make audiences drool over their dream pairs.

i think asha is the best choice for this role sukriti is littel older for this role b/c sukriti and ankita does nt look like mother and daughter...asha is younger then her so she suits more...

asha and ankita r same age.anki is 27 but hiten is older and senior then them.may b some ppl misunderstand anki and hiten r same age

Who cares whose age is what.. Asha has a baby face, pure and innocent. I feel she fits the role of Purvi the best. No one else could have played this role as well as her. Ankita looks like elder sister to Asha if not mother. But, Ankita and Asha have a good pairing as mother and daugther onscreen. I like watching them onscreen together.

bold- i dont know what it mean but i want to say anki said asha and she same age in her phootoshoot interview and mrinali/teju elder than her u can see anki's off screen phooto and ekta already offer her 20years old girl role after PR bc she looks 20years old girl.she looks old bc she act as mom and opposit hiten who is very senior to them.if asha still shown with ram kapoor then she also look old.
