Hey JW, I just posted on your thurs epi post to say hope you'll be making a post on the fri one so we can chat- and lo and behold here we are! Atleast some things we can count on š
Friday's epi continued on a fine but not exceptional note that has defined pretty much the whole week.
Anyway instead of venting, let's focus on the best part- the exchange between ASR and Khushi and the mirror scene that followed. I loved the A-K exchange because it showed vintage ASR- the swagger, the uber confidence, the gloating and the smirk. It has been an important aspect of what makes ASR the gray personality that he is so it's always nice to get glimpses of it. But what makes it really nice is that as the viewer we have now had several instances to know that much as ASR may make claims about his confidence in himself, his dimaag and so on none of this comes into play when he is around khushi. It's dil all the way and beyond. I'm glad the CVs have managed to establish this for ASR's character.
This response of yours in bold is awesomešš...and thats why I wanted to know what you thought as you caught a similar vein like me on the Thursday episodeš...Thanks again purplepink on taking the time to respond here...i appreciate itš...ASR/ Arnav has now reached the stage where he is both the dimaag and the dil...and I have enjoyed the complex journey this has beenš³š³...I am glad too that despite the slippages...the CVs and Barunš...have managed to keep ASR on pretty much the track he ought to have beenšš...Just wish Khushi's story graph is told as well...then it would be simply magicšš
With Khushi however, we have not been so fortunate. She may love him (I guess as the lead of the love story she has no choice but to š)
ššš...DITTO
but the CVs have not established it as well.
Yup we need some monologues or flashbacks...and no comedy
Both the characters exhibit bipolar behaviors time and again but ASR's has been less butchered I think.[/DIV

And agree ASR knows about his feelings- he has to. After all before that infamous terrace scene he happened he was supposedly on his way to tell her fatal kyun padta hai. If anything this marriage has only validated that he is powerless in loving her and increased his internal battle of fighting against it given the MU hanging over their heads.
Yup well saidšš...and therefore everytime it goes back to the emotional part...his true feelings come to the for...like after the bhaang scene...or even when just this week he watch her sleeping in his room
[DIV]The SWAMI track is back- sigh! For the life of me I can't understand why the CVs want to resurrect this when it was a non-starter to begin with
[DIV]
Its their vision of twists and turnsšš...it does not invoke any kind of genuine mirthšš
If the appearance of the twitching, buffoon of a villain evokes relief what does it say about the plight of the serial..some sock puilling by the CVs needed pronto
DITTO...and we need a different set of expressions from that villian now
Happy weekend š
And to youš
