Seeing how excited Ovi got after seeing her picture on the cover of Vogue got me thinking (as an aside, lol at "I only sent a few pictures in, I can't believe I'm on Vogue!!" If you're going to be on the cover of a major magazine and you're a model, you KNOW. But then again the CVs probably don't actually know anything about the modeling world)
Anyway. What I mean to say is this:
What I'd like to happen is for Ovi to realize how much she loves modeling and how getting married right now and giving all that up would not make her happy- and as she realizes that, she will be feeling guilty that she keeps putting off the engagement because she is the one that pushed for it in the first place, but doesn't know how to tell him. She confides this in Teju, who is happy that Ovi finally has some goals in life but doesn't really know what to say to her.
While this is happening, Purvi has turned down Arjun and is being as distant as possible, though friendly (they will have cleared out the Pune misunderstanding, though Arjun has kept his real feelings for her to himself). Arjun, confused and frustrated, tries to be a good fiance to Ovi even though he knows he loves Purvi and not Ovi. However, Ovi now is becoming distant because of her modeling work, and so he keeps spending more time with Purvi. Ovi is unaware that he is even friends with her, since she trusts Teju's judgment. Teju also sees nothing to suspect, as she trusts Arjun and Purvi is now as close to her as a sister.
Somehow Arjun and Teju get into a conversation and Teju reveals to him that Ovi's been putting off the engagement because she's not sure she wants to get married anymore, and Arjun gets overly excited, which confuses Teju- though she decides to just go with it, figuring it's just an Arjun thing. He calls Ovi and they mutually break off their engagement.
Arjun, free from his engagement to Ovi, goes to Purvi and tells her he's no longer engaged. She's happy that he's no longer unhappy and they're both shy and unsure of what to do next. However, Teju accidentally sees them together and gets confused/angry and calls Ovi, not thinking to figure out what's going on first. Ovi, though she agreed to break off the engagement, is furious to know that Arjun kept something this big from her, and the stage is set for the confrontation of the century.
And that's when Archana and Manav and choosing between children would come in.
Of course it'd be a big tamasha and all, but it would flesh out Ovi as a character (because she really is very flat right now, we barely know her).
I have no clue what's in the CV's brains though! This is just something I thought of. Let me know what you think!
