When the unknown person turned out to be his love from the past, Ahem was shocked & suprised...all the memories which he had lived with his past love came rushing thru him into the present...the pleasant memories, the happy memories, the sad memories & the final separation. His heart felt the pain of losing out the one he loved dearly & knowing that she was moving ahead in life tore him !!!
When Ahem cameback to his car, his feelings were all mixed & his feelings of losing the one he loved the most was so high that he failed to realise his wife was with him !!! The moment Gopi asked him if he was fine, it irritated him on how she could expect him to be fine when his heart was experiencing such a deep pain !!!
In the past, Ahem had agreed to get married to girl of his mother's choice as his mother asked him to decide between her & his love Anitha !!! His mother did not like Anitha, his love & he made a choice of getting married to his mother's choice as he loved his mom dearly & could not see her give up on life because of him !! As he had made a decision then, he had stayed strong to follow his decision & did not heed to any of Anitha's pleas. She cried & begged for him to reconsider his decision, even then he went ahead & got married to Gopi, just for his mom's sake. He blocked away all the feelings of losing her & learned to live life without her !!! Even after marriage, he missed her & remembered her !! He was concerned about her & asked his friends about her...on special days's such as his birthday, he missed celebrating those special moments just with her & just dreamt about her !!! He had hoped & dreamt that someday he will win her back & they would live together & share each other's love !!!
But as time passed, the new memories & hopes of being with his wife started to build on the old ones & all he cared was just for his wife. His wife's happiness was all that mattered to him & her smile made his day !!! But after seeing Anitha & seeing her moving ahead in life has bought back all those memories & dreams they had hoped to build together !!! He was angry with himself for not standing up for his love when it mattered. He was angry on how he could give up on her when both of them loved each other !!! He was angry that she was moving forward without considering his feelings as he had momentarily forgotten the present !!! He is feeling the hurt of being rejected by the person he loved the most !!! Ahem loved Anitha so dearly that he treasured all her memories safely locked in his heart & in his cupboard !!! Now as his past has reached his present he had unlocked all the feelings which were locked up in his heart !!! Will these unlocked feelings take over his present & will he realise that even till date he still loves only Anitha & that he cannot live without her or Will the present feelings of love he feels for his wife will win over his past ???
Gopi knows there is something which is not right with her Ahemji but she thinks that as he got delayed for work that he is angry & worried ...which was normal behaviour of his...she knows how important is his work for him & assumes it to be that which has effected him but the day she realises that even till date that her husband still loves & cares for his past & realises that this specific day he was upset because he was losing out on his love will devastate her !!! In the past when Ahem told her that he can never love her & as she never felt his love for her, she still withstood the heartbreaking pain & took her kanaji's help to over come the pain, but today after seeing their relationship move forward , after feeling his care & concern, him being worried about her & ensuring there is always a smile on her face if she gets to know that her Ahemji still loves his past love, she will be shattered. Her hope has already been broken as he does not remember what has happened on holi day & she cried in front of her kanaji on why he has forsaken her & with this new realisation she will lose the very little hope she has on her relationship with him, her husband !!!

My heart was filled with pain for Ahem, Anitha & Gopi ...it was really difficult to write the pain Ahem was undergoing !!! But the most difficult pain would be on that day when Gopi will know the truth of this day & Ahem's present feelings for Anitha !!!
...its amazing that gopi still loves him!!
