Khurana constructions seemed more like a fish market. Everyone was running here and there. Adi and Sasha, two of the most trusted employees of the institution, were running from one desk to another, assembling all the necessary files. Apparently their boss was coming back to office after almost a month. Their boss, widely known as Dhak-Dhak, none other than Maan Singh Khurana...

The siren rang announcing the entry of the Hitler. Everyone checked their appearances to make sure that nothing was out of place, or else today would be their last day in KC.

Maan Singh Khurana made a heroic entry with four bodyguards escorting him from his black Mercedes to his office. He dismissed them at the main entrance and entered in his entire legacy.

"Adi, Sasha... In my cabin…. NOW….."

He ignored all the wishes granted his way and shut the cabin door on everybody's face, clearly giving a glimpse of his horrible mood. Actually people would have got surprised if he was in a good mood….

MSK's CABIN

Maan was rolling the paperweight while sitting on his chair. He was waiting impatiently for Adi and Sasha to report him all that had happened in his absence. Not that there was anything he didn't know. After all he was The Maan Singh Khurana. But still for the formalities sake he wanted the full report...

"Come in.."

He allowed Sasha and Adi in after they knocked the door.

"G..Goo…Goood... M..M...Mor..ning S..Sir..."

"Good Morning MK..."

He nodded accepting their greetings and signaled them to continue with the report without any delay. They gave him the brief details of all the dealings and new contracts they got in his absence. Maan was quite impressed with the way his office was handled, though of course he didn't except it..

"MK…. Actually Ek problem thi…. Humare clients ko fresh ideas chaiyeh thhe…. Jo ki hamare existing architects aur interior designers nahi bana paa rahe thhe... Toh humne socha ki kyun na hum ekk fresh intern ko rakhe jo ki abhi bi apni architecture ki padhayi kar rahi ho..."

"Hmmm..."

Maan gave his approval; he himself had noticed the lack of innovation in the designs. The idea of a still college-going intern seemed fantastic as well as money saving…..

"Humne kuchh on-capus interviews bhi kiya thhe aur ek ladki ko finalize bhi kara hai…. Ekk baar agar aap uss ko approve kar dein…."

Sasha and Adi had the authority to recruit people if necessary in Maan's absence. So that's why they had already started searching for an eligible candidate.

"Hmmm But how will she manage…. Uska toh college hoga toh how will she come to office???"

"Mk…. Yehi wajah hai ki humne iss ladki ko short list kiya hai…. She is the university topper of first year and professors are ready to co-operate with her….. She is on a 50% scholarship but she still needs money for the remaining college fee…. In fact Professors are so fond of her ki woh toh uske liya alag se extra classes bhi arrange karne ko tayyar hain after college hours…."

"Theek hai... Ask her to come at 5... Shayad tab tak uss ka college bhi over ho jaayega..."

"Jee MK..."

"Good... Aur haan Sasha... Main chahta hoon ki yeh nayi intern mere under mein kaam kare…. She is still a learner aur main nahi chahta ki uske inexperience ki wajah se humein profit ki jagah koi loss ho jaaye…."

"Ok…."

Sasha exited the cabin after taking permission, to inform the new intern about the scheduled meeting while Adi was also leaving after getting the necessary signatures from Maan on the documents.

"Ek minute Adi... Waise iss nayi intern ka naam kya hai???"

"S..Sir G…Geet…."

"Geet what???"

"He... He.. He..."

"ADI..."

"S..sir actually W..wo apna naam sirf G..Geet hi l...likhti hai..."

"Hmm interesting…. you may leave…."

After Adi left, Maan leaned back on his chair and rotated the paper weight once again... Unknowingly a smile crept up his face….

"Geet… Hmmm..."
