Two weeks were left before Arnav would be in Khushi's area. Khushi was scared, nervous, excited, happy, and so many more emotions to meet him.

She didn't know what she was going to say to him, how she was going to react, how their meeting would be. For all she knew she may just lose it all and break down! Khushi had no idea what this meeting would hold, but she knew this was something she had to do. She had to meet him.

That night Arnav texted her:

Arnav: Hi.
Khushi: Hey.
Arnav: How are you?
Khushi: I'm fine.
Arnav: I wa thinking to make it easier for you by coming someplace close to where you live and we can meet up at the choice of your place.
Khushi: That's a better idea. I'll have to talk to my friend though. My parents won't mind me going with her. I'll just tell my parents that I'm going to have lunch with her and then go shopping.
Arnav: That sounds great! And I can't wait.
Khushi: I can't either.
Arnav: After lunch I have a surprise for you! Is it okay if I surprise you?
Khushi: Surprise? Wow. Sure.
Arnav: I want to bring back that smile that I took away from you!

Khushi didn't expect things to go the way they were. She had loved him. That night they had talked a lot. They both opened up. Khushi told him all her feelings for him and how she loved him 3 years ago. Arnav told her that had she made it more obvious then they could have been together. Khushi told him that she thought was was making it obvious. Arnav told her that guys are dumb! Khushi in her mind knew that guys were dumb! Arnav told Khushi about all the good times they shared and how he loved her and wanted to keep this friendship lasting forever. From his talks, he wanted a future with Khushi, but at the same time his mind was on his childhood crush whom he admitted to Khushi was his "true" love. But he still asked Khushi if there was any possibility in the future of them being more than friends. Khushi didn't know what to say. She told him she doesn't like to think far ahead into the future. She told him life has its own plans.

The talks Arnav and Khushi had that night were deep. Khushi was glad to have those talks with him. It made her feel so much better!

Khushi didn't know what the future held for her and him. She had loved him once upon a time. But this was the same guy that betrayed her trust. Committing into a relationship with him in the near future would take a lot of thinking! Committing into a relationship was no joke for Khushi. He had to gain her trust back. He had to prove to her that he was back in her life for good!!! Only then would she ever accept him more than friends if that's where this story was going to take them.

Whether or not they would be more than friends in the future was very questionable, but Arnav made it certain that their "best friend" status would remain untouched!!!

Totally love this :) Funny as it sounds, but I can relate to the whole story... I think it's wonderful if you can talk so openly about your feelings with that special someone... Wonderfully written :)
