TOI - Balika Vadhu's Anandi has got a temper

Anandi in Balika Vadhu played by Pratyusha Banerjee, is elated by the love she has been receiving from the audience.

However, she isn't as patient and demure as her character in the serial is made out to be. The girl, in fact, is quite short tempered in real life and flares up at the drop of a hat!

However, love seems to have changed this pretty Bengali damsel. It has made her more patient and tolerant. Pratyusha has been in a relationship with businessman Makrand Malhotra for a few months now, and she believes that love has only done her good. Busy with shooting,Pratyusha spends much of her free time - whatever little she may have of that - catching up with Makrand.

Playing a member of a typical Gujarati family in the serial, the television actress states that she is fond of the Gujarati culture and that the Guajaratis now see her as one of their own thanks to her character in the serial.

PS: They made an error calling BV a Gujrati serial. It is Rajasthani. 😊
