phew. finally done with this one. was a bit hard to write. contains mature content. if ur not above 18 stop and skip the para b/w those indicated points.

this one is dedicated to all of you who have given your lovely comments and given me the interest to keep writing and updating this ff. dont worry it isnt over yet. have still some stuff to write in this story. have some way to go, but yes i can see the light at the end of the tunnel for this ff.

hope you enjoy reading as much as i enjoyed writing.

CHAPTER 22: They Are One

Khushi: where are you going now?

Khushi asked as arnav broke the kiss and got up from the bed.

He got up and started to look around for something. Khushi didn't know what it was but she was getting irritated that arnav was not near her.

Khushi: come here you raakshas. You cant ignore me tonight.

Arnav smirked,

Arnav: someone is getting impatient.

Khushi: well if you know it already then why don't you come here.

Arnav: did you forget about my surprise today

Khushi's eyes widened with excitement.

Khushi; oh a surprise. Goody goody.

Arnav smirked again looking at the childish behavior of khushi.

He had finally found what he had been looking for. It was a small gift-wrapped box.

Khushi's face lit up with excitement.

Arnav: you look so dam cute when , ah forget it, you always look so cute tomato.

Khushi blushed as arnav gave her the gift and a small peck on her cheeks.

She hurriedly tore open the box and shook it to wonder what was inside the box. They sounded like something metallic hitting on each other.

She opened the box and the look of incredible delight changed to a look of mmense confusioin as she saw the contents of the package.

The package consisted of a pair of keys and a remote.

Khushi looked at arnav with immense confusion and then back at the box and then back again at him. She was incredibly confused and wanted him to clear her confusion.

Arnav looked at her mischievously and replied,

Arnav: oh don't worry sweety, I don't plan on clearing your confusion at all. You have to do that yourself. But I will take you to the place that holds your prize.

Khushi: arnav, why do you like troubling me so much. you know I hate so much suspense. You kept me guessing the whole marriage as to what the three surprises were and till now you haven't even told me about the 1^st one. You just gave me another set of clues.

Arnav laughed out.

Arnav: I want to surprise my wife my whole life. I don't want to become predictable. That's not who Arnav Singh Raizada is.

Khushi pulled his ear,

Khushi: you will never let that ego of yours to fizzle out now will you?

Arnav replied with all his sincerity,

Arnav: Nope. Never. If I don't have that ego what will my poor wife do if she doesn't have someone to fight with. Life will be so boring if Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada is ever quietened.

Khushi blushed as arnav told her full name. it was the first time anyone had referred to her by that name. Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada. She felt complete. She felt happy.

Arnav looked at khushi blushing and gave her another peck on the cheeks to redden her skin further and added,

Arnav: afterall if there are no fights, there will be nothing that you will be worried about. And if there isn't anything that you are worried about, then there wont be a jalebi bai in this house. And if that happens, the world will end without the tomato halwai.

Khushi's jaw dropped as her mouth gave the perfect O.

And she playfully punched him and turned away acting that she was angry at him.

Khushi: so you married me to fight everyday is it?

And khushi pouted looking upset.

Arnav smirked,

Arnav(thinking): oh god that sexy pout will be the end for me. doesn't she know how damn cute she looks?

Arnav went towards her and hugged her from the back and his hands around her waist. Khushi closed her eyes as her heatbeats started to increase.

He kissed her on her neck earning a gasp from khushi. She hadn't expected him to do that at all.

Arnav: my dear tomato, if I don't have a fight with you, I wont be able to look at you when you're angry. That is the time you look the cutest according to meand all I want to do is kiss that pout off your face.

Khushi's eyes widened as she heard him say stuff that made her cheeks redden considerably. Well she did live to her name of being the glow in the dark tomato princess and today was the day arnav would make use of that power.

He turned her toface him. Her eyes had become perfect saucers and her out was open making another perfect O.

Now arnav coudnt resist. He pulled khushi close to himand her body was pressed against his tightly. There was no room even for oxygen between them.

And before khushi could even react he leaned in and claimed her lips for himself. After the initial shock of the act khushi melted into his arms and responded to arnav in kind deepening the kiss. They finally broke when arnav withdrew and put a pair of blindfolds on her.

Khushi: Oh how did the mighty ASR become so romantic? You are scaring me.

And she chuckled.

Khushi: why did you blindfold me?

Arnav: actually I didn't have to since we wont be going that far, but it serves it purpose you know.

Khushi: what purpose?

Arnav: this.

He said and plled khushi close to him and lifted her in his arms.

Khushi let out a gasp of surprise and she blushed again as colour tinged on her cheeks.

Arnav smirked as he continued to walk.

Khushi: where are you taking me?

Arnav: to the roof.

Khushi: why?

Arnav: to make love to you.

Khushi blushed again as she punched arnav on his chest

Khushi:ARNAV.

Arnav: yes exactly. I want to make you shout my name as loud as you can.

And she threw a punch at him again.

Arnav laughed out as he saw the effect mere words were having on this woman.

Khushi:Its not funny.

Arnav: ha ha ha. Oh yes it is. Anyway I am taking you up because there is something which you can unlock up there.

Khushi: huh?

Arnav: we are here, he said after he had climbed the stairs near the pool and had reached the terrace.

He removed her blindfold.

She was shocked. She had been to this terrace before, but there was something that was different. His terrace was now covered with a huge construction of a dome like feature.

Khushi: what is this.

Arnav: want to find out? You are the one with the keys. Why not open it?

Khushi was nervous. Her hands started to shiver as she fumbled with the keys.

Arnav looking at how nervous she had become, calmed her down by catching her shivering hand and taking her hand to the lock to make her unlock it.

As they went inside the room was under complete darkness.

Arnav: lights ON.

And the lights came on.

Khushi: MAGIC?

Arnav smirked at her amusement.

Arnav: no paagal. They are installed for voice command. Now will you concenterate on your gift in front.

Then her eyes fell on a machine. Well atleast it looked like one big complicated piece of equipment she had no idea what it was for.

Arnav looked at her confusion.

He then took the remote and placed it in her hand.

She pressed the green button and then shouted in fear and hugged arnav tightly as she saw the dome above them open and move away leaving them under a clear sky.

Arnav: khushi calm down. It is a retractable roof.

Khushi:oh. You should have told me that earlier you stupid laad governor. Scared the hell out of me.

Arnav looked at her amused and pinced her cheeks.

Khushi: so what is this thing?

Arnav: It's a telescope. One of the best of its kind.

Khushi: you mean that thing that makes the stars bigger.

Arnav: not bigger but yes, you can see them closer.

Khushi ran into his arms and stood on her toes and kissed him senseless. Oh arnav hadn't the slightest idea what hit him. If he thought that kissing khushi would become his habbit. He was soo wrong. It cant become a habbit as he would never become used to it in his life.

She had withdrawn long back to go and look at the telescope but arnav was still standing there trying to get his senses back together.

Khushi had to snap him out of it.

Khushi: arnav come and show me how this thing woks.

Arnav switched off the lights and took her to the seat near which the observation post was located. He lay down first and did the adjustments to the telescope and after a while made khushi lie on top of him. Khushi looked through the eyepiece to see the stars. They were beautiful. Very lovely. Khushi's heart filled with happiness on seeing them. She had studied about telescopes and stars but to actually use one, to be actually be able to see one this close as if it was near you was absolutely mind boggling. She was swept off her feet by this one act of Arnav. After about half an hour of star gazing, she turned to face arnav with tears in her eyes. She hugged him tightly thanking him wordlessly for this gift. Arnav got up and ppicked her up again. They were staring into each other's eyes as he moved towards the bedroom. Both knew exactly what was going to happen and they both definitely wanted to do it.

They had reached the room. Arnav put khushi down. He never once broke his eye contact. He went switched off the lights and put on some fragrant candles to give some glow to the room. Not to bright nor too dark. It was just perfect as he wanted everything to be just perfect. Khushi was just looking at arnav and fiddling with her saree waiting patiently for her man.

Arnav had done his work. Now he would let nothing come in between them.

He moved towards her with his breath deepening. Khushi's heat was literally wanting to tear itself out with its beats increasing thousandfold.

The first touch sent shiverd down her body as arnav felt her.

As though he was trying out a new toy. He slowly removed her saree, pleat by pleat and let it fall on the floor. As her saree fell, the colour on her cheeks rose. He then undressed her until she was only in her inners. He did all this without once breaking eye contact. Khushi tried to look away shyly looking at the state she was in. but arnav caught her face and brought her to face his. Eyes were looking into eyes as he shook his head asking her not to feel embarrassed. He then undressed slowly, teasing khushi as she blushed harder looking at him only in his boxers.

Arnav lifted her up and placed her gently on the bed. He got on top of her and clammered his lips onto hers showing her his need. Khushi in turn kissed him back with her intensity, which had a power of her own. They both melted on each other. Arnav got rid of the excuse of the clothing that separated them and filled her with him and she completed him. It was a night of such passion and intensity that both would never forget even one lone second of it.

After they were spent on each other arnav and khushi were in a tight embrace with khushi on top with her face on his chest and her hair scattered all over them. He gently made her hair alright and khushi looked up to see arnav's eyes and found tears in his eyes and a smile on his face.

Khushi wiped his tears away and shook her head.

Then she said,

Khushi: that's my job.

And she let her tears out and hugged arnav tightly and arnav hugged her back. They were content. They were complete. They were one.

After what felt like eternity, they finally fell asleep, both felt the happiest they had been in their lives. Arnav kissed her forehead and slept peacefully.
