Summer Passion
Like the calm before a storm,she sits in the bus
Her face slick due to the stagnant summer air
Completely oblivious to the lightning bolt running behind
The bus picks up momentum, he's going at the speed of light
She looks out, bewildered, at the glorious sight
He weaves in and out of the bushes, determined to reach in time
He cheekily steals an apple and nearly commits a crime
By dashing in front of a car, he looks positively suicidal
The bus driver frowns in confusion, he only stares grimly
As the bus screeches to a halt right in front of his face
She yelps in pain, he only bites his apple; he's won the race.
Only moments before she'd prayed to escape her past
She'd never known her Raghav would come down to Earth so fast

Inside the Bus
He steps inside, showing an aura of complete confidence
Thats when her quivering face comes into view
It's like the world stops, almost like when Prince Ram
Saw his divine consort for the first time
But he's hardly the romantic, he stoically takes his seat
After what seems like an eternal marathon, he's dead beat
She's penetrated his mind, but she's not impressed by his feat
He picks up a fight, the earlier adrenaline raging in his veins
Somehow she lands up with a knife to her pretty neck
He rises up, his eyes unusually fearless
Unnerving both the ruffian and the damsel in distress
She pleads for him to calm down, but he's in his own tune
His palm grabs the knife, and he doesn't wince at the pain
His eyes filled with a daring that is hard to feign
Finally, the goon escapes, running for his life
But unfortunately, her companion has already marked him with distaste
Before he could say a word, the police comes to take him
And he comically asks: Which car? Having already accepted his fate
But the chant of Raghav in the air assures they will meet again
And that perhaps this Siya was sent to quell his own pain

Vigilante
A vigilante is someone who takes the law into his own hands
He often wears a mask or conceals his identity
Raghav is different: careless, not ashamed of who he is
He's not really an arrogant superhero, despite the taunting words of the police
He is someone who is passionate, who fights for what he believes in
Someone who is courageous, even if it means going to jail for his sin
The companion says, 'Criminals like him should be sent to jail'
He doesn't argue, only stares with indignation and faint interest
His Siya remains quiet, as if putting him to test
They've come to file a complaint, shocking, for he's just saved her skin
He was lying defiantly in his cell, arms covering his eyes
As if sleeping, only being brutish to his captors
And yet he jumps up as soon as she walks in
They seem to take pleasure in teasing him
He ignores them, which only ticks them off more
Despite the ingratitude he's been served earlier
He's not yet calmed down; he tells a grateful girl
To kick behind of her eve-teaser,
A perfect combination of sympathy
Yet the feeling that one should stand up for their rights
One instinctively knows that he is the one
Who will show Her the light.
