Maybe he would have answers to their questions about this mysterious person or maybe he is the person itself. Maan pondered about various options but nothing made any sense. He and along with everyone was just sitting around the phone waiting for the police to call. He holds Geet's hand as soon as the phone started to ring. She looks at him with worry and scared expressions. He squeezes her hand letting her know that its safe.
Ronit puts the phone on speaker..everyone go little close to hear what they have to say..."yes inspector did you find who it was?" (Dev looked worried at everyone..he was cursing himself for not being careful..he should've known his father would've done something like this...he carefully listened in to the inspector...)
"Sir the phone call was from your home..."
Ronit: What!
"Yes, someone was using your home phone at the time the call was placed..."
Ronit; Are you trying to tell me that someone actually managed to get past security guards and cameras? We have state of the art cameras and our guards know better then to sleep while on duty.
"I am just saying what we found out"
Ronit; Okay thanks! (he goes outside in anger while everyone follows him. He sees the two guards near the entrance talking to one another...both stand up as soon as they saw him approaching...) Last night were you guys sleeping on duty?
SG: No sir..we would never
Dadima: Ronit why are you asking them? The person is very smart and must've found a way to get inside the house without their knowledge
Madhuri: Lo ek aur problem (she gives Geet a mean look..) so many problems happening at one time..just when I thought everything was fine something new happened. Maybe it is in our fate to deal with all this.
Ronit: Madhuri
Madhuri: What! We are getting old and we shouldn't be worrying about all this. Our house is not safe anymore because of (she looks at Geet..she runs away crying...)
Ronit: Enough!
Madhuri: What did I do? I was just stating a fact
Dadima: Enough both of you guys! Right now we should be worrying about finding out who the person is and how that person got inside the house
Ronit (sighs) okay you are right maa (he looks at Madhuri) I will deal with you later...Maan beta lets review the tape to see if anyone entered the house at night
Maan; okay
Dev (panicks.."if they see no one in the tape then they will know its someone in the house..I can't get caught..) uhh dad why don't you guys to the police station to ask about Pandayji..I will review the tape and let you know what I found
Ronit: No Dev that is fine
Dadima: Dev is right...you both go to the station..its better to talk to them in person...
Maan: okay lets go dad (Dev smirks as his plan worked...)
Ronit: Dev I want to see the video as soon as we are home...
Dev (puts on an innocent face) sure dad..I will call you as soon as I find something
Ronit: okay..(both leave the house...Dev quickly goes to checks the security tape..he grabs the tape before leaving the house with it...)
Dadima: Dev where are you going?
Dev: Uhh I have to do some important work Dadima..I will be back in half hour...
Dadima: but
Dev: I gotta go..(he yells before rushing out of the house with the tape hidden in his jacket...Dadima goes up the room to view the tape herself but was shocked to see it missing..."Did Dev take the tape with him? Why?" She calls his cell phone but it was switched off..."Something is going on...I have to find out what..."

Ronit and Maan arrive at the police station. Immediately they goes to the commissioner officers office..he knew Ronit very well and he knew about the case as well. Ronit shakes his hand before sitting down next to Maan.
Commissioner: Glad to see you here
Ronit: Wish I can say the same. What has your police officer found? How come they are not able to find the person behind this?
Commissioner: We are trying our best...the person seem to be very smart and apparently knows Geet's schedule...he is keeping a very close eye on her
Ronit: Despite this information you guys can't do anything? (he says with anger..)
Maan: Dad calm down...we just need to come with a good plan to trap this person
Commissioner: Lets go back to the security tape..did you guys find out something?
Maan: My brother is at home reviewing the video..he will let us know if he finds something
Ronit: until then what are we going to do? How are we going to catch this bas***d
Commissioner: well we have an idea...but it really depends on you guys and if you guys are willing to go through it
Ronit: Will anyone from our family be in danger...most importantly Geet?
Commissioner: No..we will make sure of that
Ronit: okay what do you propose we do?
Commissioner: Okay here is the plan...(Both listen in closely to the plan)

Dev walks back and fourth nervously as the guy looks at the security video again and again. "What is taking so long to decide? Can you do it?"
"hmm yeah I can but I need time.."
Dev: How much?
"A day or two"
Dev (throws money in front of him..the guy looks at the money with a smile) You have one hour to do this
"I will try"
Dev (angry) NO don't try...I want it done no matter what! I will be back in an hour
"Okay..."

Dadima paced back and fourth in the living room...she had been calling Dev for over half hour now and still no reply from him...even Ronit and Maan were not picking up the phone..."Damn it...what is going on...everyone seem to be in their own little world...I can't talk to anyone else but Ronit and Maan...I really hope what I am suspecting is not correct...I really hope Dev is not behind this or have some part into this or else why would he steal the tape? I cannot talk to Madhuri or else she will start blaming Geet..that poor girl has been so much already...I will just wait for Ronit to return then I will talk..."
She saw Ronit and Maan entering after few minutes..she quickly sits up and walks up to them...
Dadima: Where were you too?
Ronit: We were at the police station discussing something...(he saw her distress face) mom everything okay?
Dadima: woh Dev
Dev: I am right here Dadima...(he smiles as he walks toward her trying hard to hide his anger...) is everything okay?
Dadima (smiles) yes...I tried calling you but your phone was off..I just got worried thts all
Ronit: Mom you get worried so easily..anyway Dev did you review the tape?
Dev: huh yes I did...its upstairs..let me get it...
Ronit: No its fine we can go upstairs and watch it there..I don't want to show this to Geet..
Dev: hmmm okay well why don't you both freshen up while I set the tape up
Ronit: Dev lets go upstairs..I don't have time to freshen up or rest...(he walks ahead leaving Dev behind...all reach the room while Dev was the last person to enter...) Where is the tape? (he checks the vcr and found it empty)
Dev (smiles) ohh I forgot I had put it away...(he goes to the shelf...and holds a tape in his hand..he turns around dropping the tape that was held in his hand on the floor...he goes down to pick up quickly switching the tape from his jacket...) sorry dad..here is the tape (Maan puts the tape inside the vcr...after few seconds the video shows up...at first they saw the security guard in front of the house around 10pm)
Ronit: Maan go forward later on into the night...(Maan nodes his head and does so...) stop...(he stops the video...Ronit pays attention to the time elapsed and then finally saw a strange guy entering the house) who is this person? (he was entering the house normally as if he wasn't scared of getting caught...)
Maan: I don't know but this video seems very weird to me...
Dev (looks at them with nervousness and interrupts Maan) bhai what are you saying? We should be more focused on finding this guy rather then thinking about this video.
Ronit: hmm you may be right Dev. I am going to send this video to the commisioner so that they can send it to their tech to show us a clear picture of the guy. I can't make out his face..
Dev: But dad...
Ronit: Dev I don't need any arguments...we need to catch this guy, whoever he is, as soon as possible! Now come with me to the station with this tape...Maan go spend time with Geet..take her out or something...
Dadima: Haan Maan...Ronit is right...take Geet out..I don't want her to be scared of everything..I want her to face every situation
Maan: Okay Dadima...(he leaves the room...Dev smirks...Dadima looks at him confused...)
Ronit: Ma Dev and I are going to the police station
Dadima: hmmm (She watches them leave..."I have to find out why Dev took the cassette with him and what is his role in all this...Its up to me now...")
