Ahem understands his wife so well that he knows how she would react & where she would be when she is happy or sad. Ahem knew Gopi would be very sad & effected by what has happened to Rashi & he knew her so well that she would be near her kanaji praying for her sister's recovery. He saw her near the mandir & was worried for her. As he went close to her & called her, he saw Gopi turn around & the pooja thali fall from her hand . As the flowers fell down & as the dust of sindoor & Haldi was settling down in the air, by the blink of an eye, Ahem was transported to another memory where he remembered chasing her with colour in his hand & saw her running away happily from him !!! He did not know what it was & he was confused on what was that memory & how come he did not remember or know anything about it before. He kept thinking when did the event happen in their lives or was it just his wishful thinking !!!
As gopi was dusting of the colour from him, he was bought back to the present to hear her apologise to him. Still trying to place if what he had just recollected had actually happened, Ahem held her hand to stop her & tell her that it was perfectly fine. As he felt her wriggle out her hand, he relunctantly left her hand. As she was picking up the pooja thali he kept observing & searching her for the answers to the questions which the memory had created in him !!! As she walked away, he kept thinking that there was something which was different ...in his memory he saw her happily running & enjoying her time & now she is scared to be around him. He kept wondering which was true & if the memory was true, then why was she scared of him now...At that point Ahem realised there was something which was not fitting the entire senario & that his wife may know something related to it. He was confused on why she never shared anything about it in the past !!!
Ahem knew the feelings of concern & worry he had undergone when he almost lost Gopi & also during her recovery period. He realised what she means to him & fought with her & her kanaji to get her back to him as she is his life. Today with this knowledge, he understood what his brother was going thru & when his brother was worried & doubted if Rashi could see, he immediately cut down his brother's negative voice telling him to think positive & that everything will be alright !!! When the doctor was checking Rashi & mentioned that she may need somemore time to heal, he knew his wife would be worried & she would reach out to him. He immediately looked at her acknowledging her worry & silently telling her thru his eyes that he was there for her & understood her concern. Ahem at each & every point is building his wife's trust in him making her realise that he understands her & he is there to work on things !!
Ahem observed Gopi as she bought him his green tea. As he handed over Rashi's medicines to her, he realised that she had tears in her eyes, worrying about Rashi & was feeling miserable !! During navratri time, Ahem realised that Gopi was worried about Rashi & at that point he distanced himself saying the issue was between sisters & he will not get involved but today anyone & anything related to his Gopi is related to him & as Gopi made him realise the importance of family, he is now trying to ensure his best to take care of them for his family & his wife's happiness !!! Ahem knew Gopi would never share her pain & hurt with others & would keep it to herself. As he wanted her to feel better & not worry & as he started to talk to her, he saw her crying, worrying about her Rashiben !!! He could not see her crying as her tears tugged his heart. He felt helpless as she cried herself out expressing her concerns on why kanaji was punishing Rashi & even she had stopped talking to her. Ahem could not longer bear to see her worried & he immediately started to console her saying that as the doctor had told, Rashi will be fine & that different persons take different time periods in healing.
As Ahem saw tears roll out from her eyes, he could no longer hold himself back & wanted to take away all the pain & hurt & just get her to relax & smile. With no control on his heart, he immediately started to wipe away her fears & worries by clearing her tear tracks. As he started to clear away her tears, he realised that she was suprised & scared by his action. For a second he was taken back by her reaction & did not know if she was fine. But as he saw her relax & look at him with hope, he continued to clear away her tears & with a confirmation thru his eyes & an understanding nod telling her that everything will be fine !!! As she thanked him, Ahem realised he had moved a step closer to her heart as she shared her pain with him & also trusting him to remove the pain & hurt away from her... seeing her smile back bought a smile on his face & finally his heart felt at peace !!!
In the past also Ahem could never see Gopi crying, it always tugged his heart but he still ensured he kept his feelings in control & tried settling things which were troubling her like the cheating episode in school. He never went beyond the task of settling things to feel her pain & absorb her hurt, but today with his heart filled with love for her , he could feel her pain & hurt !!! He wants to take away from her, her pain, her hurt, her worries & just see a smile on her face !! He has already realised the past in which he was the reason for her tears & feels hurt by his behaviour...but the day he realises that the tears she shed on the special day they shared in their life were because of him, he will never be able forgive himself !!!
