I just think that the slap was an extreme reaction and unfortunately , this type of storyline helps propagate violence against women.

So he's now an extreme version of a momma's boy. God help Saroj! 😔

yeah i agree with you..but i guess this being the first time she couldnt have done nething more than just cry and run coz this was the very frst time ANYBODY i guess raised their hands on her...and tht too just the day after ur marriage will b shocking as hell to any women...it would be inappropriate for her being rude just the same at the moment coz she isnt aware of their household or their nature...but what i would like is after saroj takes a full view on whats going on and nobodys planning to change any behavior around and thts how they always r then i would like her to staand up for herself..tht would also b the right time...so i guess it would take her 4-5 days to take-in to absorb everything and finally get a hold of whats going on...if before tht it will b too soon for her to say anything...because v as audience know how they really r, ofcourse she being a new member wouldnt know anything...
