CHAPTER 19:Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada

Now khushi took a deep breath. She was moved so much by his words. There were tears in her eyes and arnav came forward to remove them and wiped them away.

Khushi: I have always known you arnav. Even though you hurt me, there was some thing that always led me closer and closer to you. Do you want to know what.

Arnav looked into her eyes and nodded,

Khushi: they were your eyes. Even though you did something else, even though you said something else, even though you may have hurt me, your eyes always said a different story. I could see the pain you had suffered by just looking into your eyes.

How dare you call yourself a monster?

You are no monster. And I can prove it to you mr Arnav Singh Raizada.

A monster doesn't help a small child crying in a temple. It was an angel in the form of you.

You helped an innocent girl when there was no one nearby to provide a shoulder for her.

You bought all the pigeons there just to put a smile on her face. To give her strength and that was the moment I had started loosing my heart to you.

Because at that moment I had realized about the arnav you were trying to hide from all of us. The arnav who was capable of love but he was just a bit afraid to love and loose it again.

A monster doesn't love his di or his family so much that he is ready to do anything to see happiness on someone else's face selflessly.

A monster doesn't go out of his way to save a girl who is being hit by hooligans.

A monster doesn't protect the things that he loves as there is no space for such emotion inside him.

A monster doesn't love.

A monster doesn't help his brother in convincing another girl as to how much his brother loves her.

A monster doesn't go around wasting his time convincing his family members for his brother's marriage.

A monster doesn't come to the aid of his brother when he is glued to a chair in the middle of the night and come and help him out of the chair so that his inlaws don't kill him the next morning.

A monster doesn't get bangles for the person he loves.

A monster doesn't help a girl serve food because the waiters didn't show up.

A monster doesn't dance with a girl because her partner refused to show up.

A monster doesn't feel, yet you couldn't see tears in my eyes. You couldn't miss to see the earing I hadn't worn.

A monster doesn't feel pain when someone else gets hurt. Yet it looked like you were in more pain when that bangle broke and it cut my hand. The way you reacted was not the way of a monster.

A monster doesn't apologize for his mistakes. Yet when I told you the truth you did everything in your power to apologize to me and seek forgiveness.

You left no stone unturned to seek my forgiveness.

A monster isn't the one who secretly runs an anaathaashram to provide chances for kids without parents to live life happily and with a lot of chances.

So Mr Arnav Sing Raizada you are wrong. You are every bit the man who is capable of love and capable of being loved.

Arnav singh raizada, you are NO MONSTER. Do you hear me?

I fell in love with the arnav you were trying to hide. It was my mission to bring that arnav out when I saw him for the first time helping that little girl in the temple.

I love you arnav and you are such an honest and amazing human being who has sacrificed so much for everyone else but himself that you are a role model to me.

That is why I had decided to rename myself to Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada. Because I wanted to be like you.

To be able to put another's happiness before yours is a power that not a lot of people in this world possess.

Even if it were true that I was in love with shyam, you never manhandled me or took undue advantage of me.

You never took advantage of the fact that we were married and you could do anything to me.

I saw the regret in those eyes of your whenever you did something that you did not intend to do.

For that you have my respect. Had someone else been in our place, he would have harassed me. but you proved that you were a better man.

So never tell me that you are a monster mr Arnav Singh Raizada, otherwise the consequences will be severe.

I refuse to take another bad word against my husband to be.

Got that?

(she paused to take in a deep breath and continued)

Arnav I know what you did was not right, but anyone in your position might have done the same thing.

You may have spoken to me badly but even then you did not abuse your power over me.

you still had a caring side left for the person who you thought destroyed your di's life. I salute that part of you.

I fell in love with you just because of you arnav.

All because of you. Even though you shunned me from yourself in the past, your truthful eyes pulled me back to you with a stronger force.

I didn't know then but I had fallen hopelessly in love with you when I had seen the arnav in arnav singh raizada.

There is always more to you than meets the eye.

Even if I had a hundred different choices or more, I would sacrifice anything to make sure I always ended up with you.

I have,had and will always love you and care for you.

arnav: I love you too khushi.

and she caught arnav's sherwani as the lights in the room were switched off to engulf everyone in total darkness other than the little light given out by the fire in the havan.

it was Nk and akash who had switched off the lights silently as they wanted to give arnav and khushi some well deserved privacy.

Khushi pulled at arnav with urgency and removed all the distance in between them and claimed his lips. Arnav matched her passion and kissed her back. The relief and warmth that they felt pouring into them was immense. They didn't care if people were staring at them or not. They were lost in each others arms, kissing and giving themselves to each other.

The kiss also had another purpose. Khushi poured out all her emotions that she couldn't convert into words into that kiss and arnav did the same. Words could really never convey feelings as much as an action could. Words were just that. Words. Sometimes apart from them something else was needed. This kiss was exactly that. That gap between words and feelings were filled by action and they did just that. They kissed each other to show their feelings rather than to talk about them. It was from these actions that both of them knew the fact that they loved each other immensely and would never be able to live without each other. They had become perfect in every angle.

They were mr and mrs raizada.

To talk about one would be the same as talking about the other.

Khushi was arnav's happiness and arnav was khushi's.

They would never let anything stand in between them. And they knew it. They loved each other enough and trusted each other enough to let anything come in between them. It would be impossible

Khushi: arnav.

Arnav: khushi.

And they broke apart. Now they finally realized as to what had happened as they started to hear the murmur in the crowd.

Arnav hugged khushi knowing she was afraid of the dark.

Arnav: don't be scared khushi, lights will be back.

Khushi cupped his face and made him look into her eyes. Khushi smiled and replied,

Khushi: I am no longer scared of anything arnav. I know that you'll be there to protect me as you always have.

Arnav smiled. Khushi always seemed to surprise him. He gave her a last peck on her lips before he withdrew. And as soon as he withdrew the lights came back on.

Anjali walked over to arnav and turned him to face her,

Anjali: I feel so sorry for all that you have gone through chottey. I am glad that you have ended up with khushi and hope your bond remains strong. You have always been a pillar of support to me at all times and I have never been there for you due to my state. I am so thankful and blessed to have such a caring brother. Truly chottey, I love you for all that you have done for me so selflessly.

Arnav: there is no need to thank me di. It was my duty, as a brother. And I love you too di.

All the raizadas including akash, Nk, naniji, mamji and mamiji came and hugged arnav tightly. Even lakshmiji had come near arnav, which had finally brought up smiles on many faces.

The panditji who was just a silent spectator until now was praying for khushi and arnav's happiness. Never had he seen two people so deeply in love, never had he seen two people having so much trust in each other, never had he seen such a powerful connection between two souls.

It was as though he had seen a god's miracle.

It was as though he had seen god himself in the form of their love.

Panditji: arnav beta, shall we proceed with the ceremony?

Anav and khushi in unison: yes panditji

Making the raizadas and gupta family to burst out with laughter. These two definitely wanted to get married quickly.
