So the recliner that Arnav slept on had officially burned and now with the door to the poolside also conveniently locked by Di for fear that Arnav would manage to escape from there, there was only one place left to sleep: the bed, both of them on the bed! Arnav had been putting off this day for as long as he could but now he reasoned that there was no other choice.

Khushi: Don't worry you can sleep on the bed, you have a right!

Arnav: Excuse me, did I even ask you? It's my bed in the first place and im the one who gave you permission to sleep on it.

Khushi: Yes yes ofcourse, how can I forget? Now what is your next command please do tell, she said batting her eyelashes sarcastically.

Arnav took his pillow and placed it next to hers on the bed and lay down.

Khushi: There are rules when you sleep next to Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada, so listen up.

Arnav: What the?

Khushi: Rule # 1: Stay on your side of the bed, no rolling or moving around and absolutely no kicking. Rule #2: I like to roll and talk in my sleep, so no stopping me. Rule #3: Umm..I forgot..she said putting her finger in her mouth..ah just keep quiet and don't sure you Laad Governor smartness.

Arnav: Really Khushi, really? You think I'm gonna sleep here and follow your rules, to hell with your rules, I don't give a damn, he said covering his ears with a pillow as he turned around facing away from her closing his eyes tight to fall asleep.

Khushi picked up a teddy bear from the side table and put it in the middle of the bed and started to talk to it.

Khushi: It's such a beautiful night right? I'm so glad I have you to cuddle up with, your so soft and gentle, unlike some people, she said making faces towards Arnav and hugging the teddy tight. Ahhh I missed this...

Arnav heard her mumbling and removed the pillow from his ears to hear.

Khushi: I so missed cuddling up with Di, it's so hard to sleep on the bed when you have no one next to you that you can just like you know chipat to and sleep! She said pouring out her hearts feelings to the teddy.

Arnav turned around to see who exactly she was talking to.

He turned to face her and Khushi looked at him.

Khushi: Hey you didn't sleep yet? Good I want to ask you something, actually I kind of miss Di, wish I could go and sneak into her room. What do you think she is doing right now?

Arnav gave her a weird "like seriously woman?" look

Khushi: Oh oops, I forgot, now she has Jeejaji to cuddle up with so why would she need me? She sighed, oh well I'm happy for her. Wonder what else those two are doing, probably what we'll never do..

Arnav: Excuse me? Arnav said shocked at the things that she was saying.

Khushi: What...? What are you thinking, im just saying they are probably having nice decent conversations with app janab, I know we can never talk like that, what did you think I was talking about..

Arnav: Umm oh I thought...

Khushi: Ewww eww, you Laad Governor, dream on, I told you I've stopped dreaming about you. Ahh I have my cute little teddy, come here na, she said hugging the teddy tight

Arnav was angry now and surprised that the reason for his anger was a stupid little stuffed animal.

Arnav: Where did you get that? He said through gritted teeth.

Khushi: Oh well you see, I bought it from the "gift shop" at the Delhi mein Bali hotel, it's cute na?

Arnav: No, he said moving closer towards her and picking it up and throwing it far off the bed...

Khushi: HEY!! Why did you do that? He was my cuddly teddy bear!!

Arnav: Shut up and go to sleep!!!

Khushi: I can't sleep unless I cuddle with someone, Laxmii isn't here today either.

Arnav: Ok fine!!!! You want cuddle you'll get cuddle, he thought in his head.

Arnav pulled Khushi to his side of the bed so she lay with her head on top of his chest.

Khushi: Hey no rolling I said.

Arnav: I can't roll, but you can right..?

Khushi: But this isn't my side of the bed she said her heart beating fast at the closeness as she stared into his eyes.

Arnav: Well it is now, now just shut up and go to sleep.

Khushi: But how? She asked innocently feeling uncomfortable in the awkward position.

Arnav: Like this, he said putting his arm around her and molding her thin form into his chest so her hands were sprawled across his stomach.

Khushi: Ahh my own personal human teddy bear she smiled, glad he's not fat though, oh wait, are these abs I feel, oh this guy is mighty fine☺️! She fell asleep to silly little thoughts...

And after a long day they ended up falling a sleep cuddled in each other arms!!😳

This is one of my silliest pieces 🤣!! i literally gave myself 15 minutes to write on this idea in my head and whatever came in my mind i wrote!! don't even know if it makes any sense!!
