I was just thinking of some past school life memories when I suddenly realised that I had known a real life Sajan as a kiddo. I distictly remember this couple because a) the girl helped me out b) I had a crush on the boy. It went like this, that when I was in class three and four, and maybe five, I used to travel by the school bus. Now, the bus had lots of age groups.
This guy was in class 12 and so was the girl. We dont have a co-ed school but the boys school and the girls school are neighbours under the same banner- La Martiniere. (I am sure many people have heard of it)
Now this girl, what I realise now, was a shy person. She had no specs or any nervous attitude. But she was a quiet person who was active in schoola activities. She had a younger sister in class nine then. She was a very pretty person, and a senior prefect.
This guy was typically Samrat-ish- charming, cute, very good looking, extremely friendly and so on. No, he didnt flirt. But he always always at by her side. He always talked with her and no one. She wud listen and smile. He wud go on. They looked pretty cute together- But I often felt jealous! I really wanted him to talk to me and not her!!!
He once smiled at me when I was bold to come near the couple...
I dont think initially they were seeing each other- He was just trying to befriend her and she was just reserved as ever.
I never saw them after their graduation. Nor do I know his name. Her name I distictly remember as Uma, and her sister Vedika.
He was my second crush, my first being a classmate in my previous school...
I really hope wherever they are, they are together. A Sajan in real life...
