In today's episode they show Priti coaxing Sandhya to divorce Sooraj and build an independent life by herself.

We all sincerely hope that Sandhya does not take this step as we all want Soor- Sandhya to be together. And we all know that Sandhya will not take this step.

But I think the makers were trying to educate women who are in desperate situation and feel trapped in an unhappy marriage. They are, I think, trying to tell women that they can stand on their own and can stay in a women's hostel, take a part time job and study. I think it is a very valid and good message.

Any woman who is treated in a marriage as Sandhya has been should not tolerate such abuse and ill treatment and should break away. And if they are unable to get support of their parents, can find ways of standing on their own.

Now to DABH.

1. Absolutely delighted with the way Sooraj handles Meena. I so wish they would write more similar meaty parts for him.

2. Meena is a good actress and she plays it so well. But boy that Meena is one clever fox. They way she manipulates and twists facts. Amazing. I am sure her IQ is far more than Sandhya's. But she is evil.

3. Bhabho needs to see a psychiatrist. She is going to explode soon.

4. So we will have some relief over the necklace issue but the next bomb has been planted!!!

Some one is going to find those divorce papers and another sand storm is going to engulf the Rathi household. Why the heck did Sandhya bring those papers home and why could she not be shown to have the sense of hiding.

Oh I forget our innocent, naive bahu was in such a state of shock by her friend's suggestion that she forgot the papers.

So as usual another melodrama on the way. The greatness of Bhabho will be that she wakes up from her trance of Sandhya hatred and tears the papers and gives Sandhya a big cuddle.

But we all know- no chance of that!

Yes one bombshell was saved from being exploded until another one is planted...

But for this one my take is a little different... This might be the beginning of the IPS track which will move along side the love track or maybe love track will begin soon - dont know it all depends on when Sandhya begins to realise her feelings for Sooraj...

The things I liked abt the epi today...

Sooraj being assertive and saying to Meena even after her long drama ... that this time he will not keep quiet bec if he keeps quiet it would mean doing injustice to Sandhya...

I also liked Preeti's involvement and concern for Sandhya that made her bring the divorce papers and hostel forms... we have to see how these papers are used and what will be the next issue that is related to these papers??

From the Precap it looked like Meena will be caught but knowing these shows and how they work it could be misleading and again meena will be covered in some way or

Meena may be caught but Sandhya or Sooraj will convince Bhabho to spare her...

I still cannot understand Priti's character at all. She seems to pop up randomly without any purpose or direction.

I agree, the CVs of DABH showed an important message in today's episode. That women don't have to tolerate abuse. That there are other options.

No one likes the D word. As Avidfan has said in an earlier post...it's just not what good girls do. But there are situations in which unfortunately it becomes necessary.

I don't know if Sandhya has reached that point yet, because fortunately she has a loving husband to counter the negativity somewhat.

I think she just needs to stop behaving like the frightened, cowering bahu...and become more assertive...sort of like Bhabo 😆

I think that Sandhya is very assertive when it comes to defending the things she feels the need to defend but her assertiveness comes from her actions and that is the basis or a quality she would need to be a good IPS officer...

She thinks carefully before taking actions and when she does take actions they are backed by proof...

If Sandhya also starts behaving like bhabho then Sandhya would not be in the house as Sooraj would not tolerate any disrespect from his new bride... besides imagine 2 bhabhos in the house😆

Having said that...Preeti's role is very important. She voices harsh opinions, and confronts Sandhya with cold hard truths that we've all thought about at one point or another.

She gives voice to "shameless" options that no one else dares utters.

And while it makes us uncomfortable that she's putting all these "nasty" ideas in poor Sandhya's head. They really serve to jerk Sandhya back into thinking for and about herself first for a change.

Preeti is the ultimate reality check.

I think you misunderstood me. Sandhya is very intelligent and assertive when it comes to fighting for the truth or the rights of others...but she does nothing for herself.

She needs to stand up and set that house right...which she'll only do when she realizes that it's for the Rathi's own good.

Have you ever seen the movie Beta. Anil Kapoor was simple and uneducated, and couldn't tolerate anything against his mother. But Madhuri's character used that very same quality and turned the whole house upside down and in her control and came away looking like a saint. 😆

In reality Bhabo is nothing compared to Sandhya...It's only Sandhya's shirafat that's keeping her from making Bhabo dance on hot coals. 😆

Not sure about divorce but it is time for Sandhya to separate from Suraj..

If not for all the inhumaneness she has had to endure in that household but the fact by her own submission that she cannot foresee herself in a connubial bliss with Suraj ever.

In her own convoluted thinking she is upholding the sanctity of marriage by living with the family as a Rathi Beendni and not as Surajs wife. I think this is a big blooper on the part of cvs..An educated person as she is portrayed to be would be able to discern that this is not what a marriage is supposed to be even if Suraj says he is ok with it...

A separation is needed until she is able to decide if she can honor the marriage vows completely by her will to surrender herself in the marriage and if not then proceed to dissolve the marriage bond..
