Shaheer Sheikh hates celebrating his birthday

This is one name in the world of television industry that needs no introduction at all. Young, dashing and handsome Shaheer Sheikh, through his perseverance, hard work and talent, has sealed his place amongst the top ranked actors in the tellydom. Yes, as Anant in Star Plus' Navya, he has emerged as a household name and a craze amongst female fans.

And today (26 March 2012) is the sexy lad's birthday. But unlike many who can't stop partying to cherish the day they were born, Shaheer is someone who hates celebrating his b'day.

"I am basically a very boring person. I don't go out partying on my birthday. I like to spend the day all alone," he shares with Tellychakkar.com.

So what is he doing this year? "As I said, I have planned nothing special. I will stay at home and be all alone," he further goes on to reiterate.

Hmm…you are quite a different lad, Shaheer. Furthermore, he says that his best birthday has been the one when he was in standard 12. "I was in school and my friends threw a surprise bash for me. I really enjoyed it. I remember every moment of it."

"I don't like gifts. Ahh…I am yet to receive my special gift. I will wait," he says with a smile on his lips.
