Gopi walked into her room thinking about the counsel Baa had spoken to her few minutes back about marriage & being married to her Ahemji. When Gopi first heard Baa saying Ahem was actually lucky to have being married to her, Gopi was very apprehensive because she was confused about her relationship with her Ahemji especially after Holi. She was confused on what does her Ahemji feel about her & their relationship. He has never expressed his feelings in words but always showed it to her by being there for her & taking care of anything which was related to her & this confused her as how he could forget about the love they had expressed each other during holi. But she recognised his efforts that he had immediately realised that she was not happy & something was troubling her & in his own small ways was trying to get a smile back on her. Last night he showed how much he trusts her, which had built back hope in her that he still cares for her.
Baa's counsel of spending as much as time possible with her husband & by spending time both of them would get to know about what to expect from being married to each other & as theyy do that each others expectations & hopes would be shared with one another left an everlasting impression on Gopi. As Baa shared her experiences of her marriage & her husband's dependency & expectation on her was his way of showing love to her, things slowly started to become clear for Gopi on her Ahemji's dependency & expectation of all his needs such as his green tea, she selecting clothes for his work, expecting her to be there for him when he comes back from work was his way of showing his love for her !!! As she looked at her sleeping husband, she hoped that they will also be able to work on their relationship & that he will always show her how much he loves her every waking moment.
As Gopi saw a mosquito hovering around Ahem, she was immediately concerned & tried to put the mosquito away so that her Ahemji was not disturbed from his sleep. As she was trying to do that, her hand grazed her husband's cheek & it woke him up from his sleep. Ahem was suprised at seeing Gopi near him & asked her. He saw his wife being worried & trying to explain about a mosquito. It bought out a pleasant feeling to his heart, which reflected on him entirely as he woke up looking at her pretty face. He was happy to see her back with him, taking care of every small thing related to him. He went back to sleep with this happy thought that he finally has his wife, his love with him & nothing could be as beautiful as waking upto her.
In the past Ahem in no clear terms explained it to Gopi that he never wanted to see her & that she should move away from the room before he gets up. Even at times whenever she tried to wake him up for his work, he was always irritated at her & Gopi was scared because of this. But as she saw her husband with a pleasant expression looking at her & then going back to sleep, she could not control her happiness. At that point she remembered Baa's counsel that as husband & wife that they need to spend time with each other & only by doing so will you be able to learn about each other's expectations & hopes. Looking at her husband going back to sleep pleasantly, Gopi understood at that point that her husband did not mind her waking him up & in his own way told her that he expects her to wake him up & cajole him everyday !!!
