Criticism is healthy if it is meant to help the person and you tell these criticisms directly to the person.

Most people just want a scapegoat to criticize in order to mask their own wrong doings. but anyone who's in a position to criticize celebrities obviously has some seriously fouled up priorities if they're actually involving themselves that intensely in the life of someone they've never even met.

Being a celb is about becoming a your own brand. Their actions, clothes.. , accessories, Movies, etc influence the brand 100%. They can't take a day off and relax away from scrutiny with a can of coke whilst being sponsered by pepsi... Imagine if salman khan actually wore age appropriate clothing? Settled down and married - brand destroyed. Why does srk stick around in the apparently unhappy marriage? why does sonam act shit or hardly at all but plays dress up? Branding!

They sell themselves to Stay in the Media and make $$.. So like any brand you can call it all the names in the world. 😉

Family needs no explanation. It is not a family's fault that they are related to someone famous. Unless in the limelight themselves, you leave them out. This is especially true with children. Most mature celebrities know how to protect their families from the limelight. But if the celebrity is stupid or immature, the onus of being mature falls on us.

I agree on this...family should left out especially children and also spouse and any other relatives who dont seek the spotlight.

Criticizing is fine to point but sometimes that criticism goes too far especially when it comes to religion or involving children.

Comments on appearance- like weight, size of assets etc. Mainly because I see that it has a bad social effect. Celebs looks influence people in the real world and it affects the celebs in a bad way too! Not everyone is born with big boobs or thin legs!

I think any news that come in media is subject to criticism...and since stars do sell an image, the image is subject to criticism. We don't know the real person of course...we judge based on what is out there!

Judging based on gender, religion, sexual preference...I don't like at all.

Rumors about relationships (personal or professional) will always be there...and people will gossip and pass judgmental comments...that's part of stardom. And some stars do use their personal life to sell themselves so it's fine to criticize it!
