Wow, loved ur song for ASR Rang Rang mein, Khushi is a true wife - picked up her husband's trade mark dialogue, I was laughing as I was watching the episode and yeah she must atleast offer some balm for his stiff neck

Today I thought of reading your post and then watching the epi 😃 yayyy am super satisfied.. now off I go to watch the epi 😳

Somehow along with the arhi moments of love, Something else also touched my heart. Shyam- Anjali. Somehow for a split second i felt Shyam is not acting. Not even ASR can lift her from that demise. Only Shyam can do it.😕. I think I am confused about Shyams character. I am not able to see him as pure evil till date...

I don't think any character is ever beyond redemption. However, I do believe that the character must 'want' redemption.

Redemption cannot be just given or put on someone - if the character is motivated enough to want it, then yes.

However, with Shyam it seems, the one thing that could have made him 'want' to change, did not impact him positively. His child. Most men would give up all for their children. But for Shyam, he is capitalizing on the fact that his wife is expecting and using the scenario to gain ASR's trust. He hasn't even once actually rejoiced over his impending fatherhood.

If Shyam is to change, something truly drastic must happen.

People who are as hard-hearted as Shyam usually have become so over time. Therefore, one good thing happening to them, does not change them.

I don't believe that anyone is all evil and no good. There is definitely some good in Shyam too - but it is buried very very deep inside.

As far as giving him a chance at reforming is concerned, he has been given and is still being given a chance. His first chance came when Khushi decided to hold his reality from Anjali. He could have taken his cue. Then, again ASR gave him a chance - which is still valid. But is he turning? Not yet ... 😊

Long back, I'd made a post that I'd love to see ASR and Khushi bring about a reformation in Shyam. For me, that'd be the ultimate end to this beautiful story ...

Plot-wise: I think the reason Anjali is having her baby is because she'd need something to lean on once Shyam is out of her life. The very fact that a baby is here and Shyam is not too keen on the baby, plus, he's not showing any signs of having turned a new leaf - point to that ASR will end up kicking him out 'bahut door' as he said he would have done (on the wedding night) if Di wasn't expecting. Anjali is not as strong as ASR and she'd need someone to lean on - her baby may eventually become the reason she lives and moves on.
