Today we saw a totally new room in the Raizada Mansion - the shed, or storage room. Where Shyam hides out in his free time, and supposedly has been decorating the very tacky-looking baby crib.
But I also feel we've been shown a Chekhov's Gun today. What's Chekhov's Gun? It's a tactic which states that if a random item has been prominently shown to the audience, it will come into play later on in the story. For example, if a gun is shown hanging in a room in Act 1, in the final Act, the gun has to be used and fired at someone, otherwise, don't hang it there.
Remember the theories we used to have that Shyam would kidnap Khushi? I used to imagine this scene and always wonder - where's he going to take her? But today, we saw he uses the Shed, with no one else privy to what goes on in there. If he is going to trap Khushi, force himself on her, blackmail her, make her disappear, whatever, I feel that shed is where he's going to keep her.
My only solace is that Arnav has seen the Chekhov's Gun, ie, Shyam's Adda.
