I think becoz shyam wants arnav to believe him, he will put his antics with khushi on hold..
at least this will give time to khushi and arnav to get closer... lot more moments.
but he would continue to trouble khushi when arnav is not there and khushi will try to solve her own problems... we know she is capable of getting her way...;)
