as for acting: he's been good right from the beginning... convincing everyone of his sainthood...some people had wanted Khushi to be with good ol' Shyamji iinstead of Arnav imagine...and then he transformed into the Snake so effortlessly!
I think he was at his best during the Arnav-Shyam confrontation during Payash marriage!

Edited~ if some you guys feel creeped out when he twitches his face or looks lecherously at Khushi with kind of hooded, reddened eyes... well it all goes to show the brilliance of the man's performance! Those actions are Shyam's not Abhaas's...we often think of the two of them as one...😊
