I think in his mind, Shyam believes that Khushi is trapped in this marraige due to the threat related to Payash and that Khushi has no feelings except fear and hatred for Arnav. I am not sure what he thinks about Arnav given his delusions and habit to hear/see just what he wants to. My guess is he believes that while Arnav is attracted to Khushi, he does not have any deeper feelings.
He will probably use a three pronged approach...
1) Try to remove Payash from the equation, likely by either getting Payal thrown out or telling truth to Payal which will make her walk out.
2) Try to rub the intimacy/sleeping arrangement issue in Arnav's face since he probably believes that Khushi demanded it. He might even pull Anjali in order prove his point.
3) Try to sympathize with Khushi and cast himself as her champion hoping that she will want to walk out to marraige when the opportunity presents itself.
Ofcourse everything will backfire...depending on what and how much Arshi remember from Bhangified confession.personally I think they remember enough to make a difference their mutual equation eventually.
My guess is Arnav will save Payash marraige proving to Khushi that he was bluffing all along. The intimacy issue will force Khushin in Arnav's room and last but not the last I think Khushi wil side with Arnav when time comes. However all this will either discredit Shyam or bring the issue to forefront as to why he is so interested in breaking this marraige.
