Something doesn't make any sense. UV would never go against DS and the way he looked at her when he saw her with the police, DS's reaction to UV being the one to help Manyata was not as grand as it would have been. She didn't look "betrayed" and we all know how much DS loves UV and how much UV looks for his his role model figure in DS.
I think it's more than it meets the eye. DS and UV seem to be playing a game with Manyata. And now that UV looks bad in everyone but Manyata's eyes because he helped her, he will gain her in full confidence in such a way that it will completely sever the ties with Akash.
I don't think Akash is really dead either, there is no way UV would kill Akash (I really hope the Creatives at least know that much which I am sure they do because that would be like committing show suicide)
