Fear engulfed her. She ran towards her room immediately. While Dadima was confused with her behavior, everyone else smirked.

"Yeh isse kya hua??? Humein to lagaa tha yeh khushi se paagal ho jaayegi par yeh to…."

Rano looked at Maaneet who nodded their head.

"Maa jee humein aap se kuchh bahut zaroori baat karni hai…."

Vicky knew that they were going to tell Savitri Devi the truth but along with that he wanted Savtri Devi to know the missing pieces of the puzzle too.

"Ummm…. sorry to interrupt you guys….par aapse pehle main inse kuchh baat karna chahta hoon akele mein…."

Everyone except Geet was confused.

"Par beta…."

"maa…. aap superman ko dadima se baat karne dijiye…. Vo hi unhe sab bata bhi denge…."

"Haan…. yeh hi sahi rahega…. waise bhi Vicky puttar kaa baat karna zyada zaroori hai…."

Rano agreed on Mohinder's insistence while dadima was confused. She had some idea about what Vicky wants to say to her. But she had never thought that he would confront her on his own. Moreover she couldn't fathom the relation between Vicky, Meet and Geet's family.

Even Maan was getting confused now. He could make out that there were still many things hidden from him.

"Yeh aap sab paheliyon mein kyon baat kar rahe hain…."

He looked at Geet to seek explanations. She silently gestured him to let the matter go for some time to which he complied hesitatingly.

Vicky left with Dadima towards her room while Rano-Mohinder and Maaneet left for their rooms respectively.

MAANEET's ROOM

As soon as Geet entered the room, Maan jerked her to himself and locked the door. He looked at her intensely as if demanding all the answers. He hated it when things were hidden from him, and that too if his Meet hid them. He had still not got the reason as to why she had hid such a big news about Papaji from him. And now when he could make out that there was more to it, he couldn't let it go.

"Yeh sab kya hai….Tumne itne dinon tak mujhe apne baare mein nahi bataya….chalo main ne tumhe kuchh nahi kaha…..par tumne mujhse itni badi baat chhupayi ki Papaji theek hai….aur abb to…."

He couldn't continue further as big fat tears started trailing on Geet's cheeks. He left her immediately. He was concerned as well as confused as to what happened to her all of a sudden.

"Shhh…..jaan, kya hua….tum ro kyun rahi ho….Main to sirf puchh…."

To his surprise or rather shock, she literally started bawling her eyes out. He got very worried that if she was having some pain or something.

"Jaan….tum theek to ho….tumhe kahin dard to nahi ho raha…..chalo hum abhi doctor ke paas chalte hain…."

"N..Na..Nahin….M..mujhe..ka..kahin nahin j..ja..jannaaa"

Maan was wondering how to control her emotional outburst specially when he didn't even know the reason behind it. He sat down on the bed and forcefully pulled her in his lap. He started rubbing her back in order to control her hiccups. Finally much to Maan's relief, she calmed a little, after a while, though she was still sobbing.

"Aaa..aap bahut bure h..ho….. Aaap..ba..bas mujhe daant te rahte ho….M..mu..mujhe appse koi b..baaat nahi k..karni…."

Maan bechara wondered "Main ne isse kab daantaa??". But nevertheless, he took the glass of water from the side table and offered it to her.

SPLASH

The very next moment, Maan was drenched in water, and in front of him stood a very livid Geet. She stamped her foot and left from there and went towards the window. While Maan sat there gaping, still trying to process what actually happened.

After a few seconds, when the realization dawned on him, he was practically fuming in anger but keeping in mind her condition, he controlled his anger. He went towards her and gently hugged her from back.

"Kya baat hai jaan…. mujhe nahi pata tha tum he itna gussa aata hai…."

To his surprise, Geet hugged him back and meekly said something. He thought that she realized her mistake and is saying sorry, he lowered his head so that he can hear what she is saying but regretted it the very next minute when Geet shouted in his ear-

"MUJHE AAPKE HAATH KA BANAYA HUA CHOCOLATE CAKE KHANAA HAI VO BHI ABHIII…."

"WHAT???"

Maan kept looking at her as if she had grown two heads. Few minutes before she was crying buckets of tears and now she was smiling and wanted to eat as if nothing had happened. It was practically one in the morning. Its true that no one had eaten dinner due to the drama that took place downstairs but he was not expecting this demand specially after what she had done to him a few minutes ago.

But kya karein, he had to agree, after all it was HIS Geet's orders, moreover doctor had warned him earlier about the mood swings thing. He shuddered at the possibility of another outburst if he didn't comply to her wishes right now. He let out an exasperated sigh and moved towards the kitchen still in a daze. He looked up and cribbed-

"Hey Geet ke babaji…..agar abhi se yeh haal hai to aage to….."
