"Chup Bilkul Chup!" he said while placing his hand on her mouth making her quiet. He had enough of her. He was trying his best to clear dis misunderstanding between dem but she was not giving him any chance nd continuously blabbering whatever coming in her mind so he had to shut her up like dis

Geet got startled wid his sudden act. She tried to free herself but he just press himself closer to her trapping her petite body between him nd the wall. Geet felt goose bumps in her body due to his proximity. She had stopped struggling nd just looked into his eyes. For the first tym in dis 1 month she's seeing some kind of emotion in it, though she couldn't put her finger on wat was that. Nd wat he said after dis had both surprised nd shocked her

"I am Sorry" he said while looking into her eyes nd Geet felt like she was dreaming where the great Maan Singh Khurana is actually saying sorry to her. Was it really a dream or an unexpected Reality?

Geet kept looking at him unblinkingly still not sure whether she heard it correct or not. Did he really said Sorry to her? Now dis was yet another shock she got from him. is he suffering from personality disorder, she thought as she couldn't understand the sudden change in his behaviour. In the morning he was yelling at her nd blaming her for replacing the file den at her cabin he listened to her cursings yet he didn't said anything nd now he's saying sorry to her. Now she was sure that he was definitely planning something worst for her otherwise Maan Singh Khurana nd apologizing someone, it was next to impossible.

On the other hand for the first tym Maan felt himself drowning in her deep hazel eyes. Even he doesn't have any idea how come he had just apologized to her wen he decided that he's not going to apologize any more. It was just that he looked into her eyes nd in the next moment he forget all his resolutions nd just blurted out wat he don't want to. He tried many tymes to look other side but he just can't. It seems her eyes had captivated his heart nd soul. He felt an unknown connection wid dem as if he had seen those eyes somewhere but where he didn't remember that. Dis may be for the first tym wen they are dis much close nd strangely it feels all right to him. It seems that they are meant to be like dis.

"I am sorry for yelling at you in the conference hall. I don't know that u didn't did it intentionally. I had send you the correct file by the peon but he got collided wid Tasha while going to your cabin nd file got misplaced wid the old one. Though I am still not sure what that file was doing wid Tasha but wen Raju told me about incident den I realize that it was not Ur mistake. I came to your cabin also to apologize but you were too busy in cursing me so I changed my mind. I hope now all your misunderstandings are clear now or you still have to say something." He said while still looking into her bringing Geet out of her thoughts

As soon as his words registered in Geet's mind she came out from the spell of his eyes nd realizes their proximity nd she once again tried to free herself from his grip. Maan could feel her struggling in his grip nd as a reflex he pressed his body closer to her leaving no gap between dem. Geet got startled to his sudden proximity. She was scared of such proximity but strangely it feels all right wid him. It feels that she belongs to him only. She stopped struggling nd gets lost in is eyes who was already lost in her. he saw numerous emotions in her eyes. They were confused first, den surprised den scared nd den calm nd lost in him. Seconds, minutes, hours dey didn't realize how much tym has been passed it seems that world around dem didn't exist for dem nd only dese two peoples are present. Maan's hand was still on her lips nd he could feel them trembling under his skin. He slowly removed his hands brushing his fingers slightly over dem while removing his hand.

Geet felt goose bumps in her body wid his touch nd Maan felt a sensation he never felt before feeling the softness of dose lips. Geet closed her eyes as his touch was creating havoc in her body. Maan wanted to feel dem, to see how it'll feel against his. He would have done it also if the loud shrill of Maan's cell phone didn't bring both of dem from their la la land. Both realizes in what vulnerable cond. They were nd instantly pulled away from each other. Geet looked other side while adjusting her duppatta trying to calm her raising heartbeats while Maan went to attend the call. All the while Maan was on call Geet tried to register what had transpired between dem. it was something new yet it feels so right to her. On the other hand Maan's condition was also not less den hers. He was present on call though but he was not able to concentrate on a single word of the caller as his mind was lost in the moment occurred few mins. Ago. He cuts short the call nd looked at Geet after finishing it who was looking other side.

"Geet wo''" he tried to say something but couldn't find the right set of words.

"It's getting late sir. Can I go home?" She asked still looking down nd Maan understands her uncomfortableness.

"Hhmmm" he could say just dis only nd Geet immediately left his cabin nd almost runs towards her cabin.

Once after reaching to her cabin Geet clutched the table tight to calm herself yet her heartbeats were not in control. She took her belonging nd left from the office as soon as she can to avoid seeing him. Maan saw her rushing outside from his cabin but it was not in him to go in front of her after wat has been transpired between dem. he pushed his hairs behind not believing what he did just now. He was so close to her nd strangely he didn't wanted to move away from her. Wats wrong wid him?

"Damn it Maan! Wat the hell u think u were doing? Don't forget this is same annoying girl who is always on Ur nerves nd you are dis much lost in her. Wats happening to me? Dis is not wat I am. Dis girl is making me do the things that I had never done before. She'll definitely make me mad one day." He thought as he pushed back his hairs in frustration nd den takes his belongings nd left from the office.

For rest of the evening Geet was lost in her own thoughts. She couldn't concentrate on anything. She was present wid Pinky nd his father physically but her mind was still wandering at the moment which was transpired between her nd Maan. She knows this was not right, she nd Maan absolutely makes no match yet it seems perfect at the moment. She couldn't able to enjoy herself wid Pinky nd den retired to bed early on the pretext of getting tired but sleep was last thing in her mind. How could she sleep peacefully wen her mind is so much full of questions.

"Wat happened to me at that tym. I am always scared wid men's proximity after that incidence den y I was not scared wen Maan sir was dis much close to me. If dere would be any other man in his place den I would have slapped him for dis but y I was not able to do the same wid him. This is not right? It was just a weak moment that's it. Nd anyways he said sorry to me because he realizes his mistake, Dats it! From tomorrow he'll again gets back in his Dusht Daanav avatar. I need to forget all dis yes I really had to." She thought as she tossed nd turned into her bed nd finally slept after lots of questioning nd answering to herself.

On the other hand wen Maan reached home he was also lost in his own thoughts. No matter how much hard he tried yet he can't take his mind away from Geet. He tried hard not to think about her but wenever he closed his eyes only her eyes came in front of him to haunt him. He went to his gym to take out his frustration but dere also he gets no piece as only thing his mind could think is of Geet. As if dere's no other thing exist in the world.

"Wat the hell is wrong wid me? y I am continuously thinking about that girl. Wat spell had her eyes created on me that I m not able to think about anything else. No, dis is not right? Don't forget Maan dat she's a girl nd dese girls are never worthy of anyone's trust. This is all an illusion. But den y did dose eyes seems familiar to me. Y I felt that I had some connection wid her? Y?" he thought as he slumped on the floor after heavy work out while pushing his hairs back.

He keeps on thinking god knows for how long nd den finally went to catch some sleep to give some peace to his restless mind nd heart after lots of futile attempt.

Next morning Maan nd his Dadimaa were present at dining table having dere breakfast. Dadimaa tried to speak to Maan regarding his behaviour last day but was not sure how should she ask him about him. Maan was reading newspaper wen he felt Savitri Devi's uncomfort. He knows that there's definitely something going in her mind nd she wont be in peace until she says it so.

"Wats it Dadimaa? Do you want to say anything? Maan asked while putting away the newspaper

"Huh' no nothing Maan beta. I was just having my breakfast." Savitri Devi said while gulping the juice.

"Dadimaa u can't lie to me. Now say it wat u wanted to say?"

"Wo beta are you feeling fine now. I mean u called last day nd asked that are u unbearable to us, so I just''.." she couldn't complete herself as Maan spoke in between.

"O c'mon Dadimaa I told you last day that it was nothing. I asked just like that. It was all because if that Geet neither had she said all dose things or dis I asked u that stupid question?" Maan said in between not realizing wat he just said.

"Geet?" Savitri Devi asked while raising her brows nd Maan realizes what he said. He had yet again mentioned Geet now definitely Dadimaa will not leave him before getting full information about her.

"She's my secretary Dadimaa. Nd the same girl who fought wid me that night wen I saved her from cuming under my car." Maan said while trying to escape from his Dadimaa's questioning gaze.

"She's ur secretary? But how come u had given her job? I mean u was so annoyed at her? Nd wat has she said that make u ask such question? BTW how she looks? Is she married or has been engaged somewhere?" Savitri Devi bombarded Maan wid her questions while he just rolled over his eyes.

"Dadimaa pls. I don't like her at all. It was just that I was not in the office wen Adi appointed her so acc to the contract she had to work for atleast 6 months. So pls stop all Ur thoughts right now nd anyways I am getting late for office so I'll answer all your questions in the evening. Bye" he said nd gets up from his chair while ordering Driver to take out his car in order to save from his Dadimaa's interrogation.

Savitri Devi just sat over dere seeing her grandson's retreating form. She's not a fool to understand that he had left so early in order to save from her interrogation but wat amused her more was he had mentioned about any girl for the first tym in dese years, though annoyingly.

"For the first tym in all dese years I heard any girl's name from Maan's mouth nd that too the same girl whom he had met before. Does that mean that God is answering my prayers? May be she's the same girl who can change my Maan. No not may be I am sure that she's the same girl who'll change Maan's lyf. Geet, such a sweet name. It looks so perfect by joining her name wid Maan's. Maan ki Geet, perfect" Savitri Devi smiled as the thought crossed her mind silently praying to god whatever she's thinking will come true.

On the other hand wen Maan reached KC he found Geet already present in her cabin. He stopped for a while in front of her cabin nd found her arranging some papers. He looked at her for a while nd den headed towards his cabin. Wen Geet heard the alarm which indicates of his arrival she immediately started arranging for his schedule nd files unknown of the gaze which was looking at her intently. Nd by the tym she looked at the door Maan had already left for his cabin. She don't know y but she felt his presence near her cabin few seconds ago but soon she whacked herself mentally for even thinking like dis. It seems that the incidence of last day was taking toll on her. She sighed at her thought nd went to pantry to get his coffee.

Here Maan was restless in his cabin. The flashes of last evening were still fresh in his mind. He tried his best to not to think about her but failed Everytym. Nd now wen she'll cum in front of him den wat he'll do. Well he don't have to make such a fuss of all dis. he's her boss Afterall nd he had to maintained his demeanor in front of her. He can't let her know that she had affected him for even a slight second. Dis will just give her a chance to trap him. He was lost in his thoughts wen he heard a knock on his cabin door. He asked the person to come inside nd immediately straightens himself. He gets engrossed in a file as soon as he saw Geet entering in the cabin.

"Sir, ur black coffee" Geet said softly in order to gain his attention

"Hhmmm" he said while still engrossed in the file. It was as if he was avoiding looking at her. Geet just shrugged her shoulders nd keeps the black coffee on his table.

"Sir here's ur schedule for today. U had 3 video conferences lined up in the next 4 hrs, after that u had Lunch meeting wid Mr. Sharma nd den u had to visit to the site of our new project." She told him his schedule hoping him to look at her so that she can see that whether he too is affected by what happened last evening in the office or it was only she who is thinking dis much but to her disappointment Maan didn't looked up at her

She sighed nd turned to go wen Maan stopped her

"Geet" she instantly stopped in her tracks nd turned to look at him who was still looking at the file

"Does he want to talk about last evening? O god wat I'll do if he talk about that? But y m I getting worried? It was not my mistake, he pinned me on the wall but I too was lost in him? O god wat will happen now?" she thought as she looked at him trying to know his next action.

"Wat about the designs that you are supposed to prepare?" he asked while looking at the file

"Designs?" Geet muttered confusingly as she didn't expected him to ask her about designs.

"Ya the one that u are preparing for Mr. Mehta's project" Maan said while raising his head to look at her but with another second he again shifted his concentration on file.

"Oh! sir I am working on it nd it'll be finished by the end of dis week."

"Hhmmm, gud"

"Sir Do you want to say anything else?" Geet tried yet again to know what's going in his mind

"No Geet, you can go now." he said coldly nd Geet understands that he doesn't wanted to talk about last evening. May be it was only she who was thinking dis much. It was all just a slip. So it's better if she too forgets about it.

"Ok Sir" She said nd left his cabin.

As soon as Geet left his cabin Maan closed the file nd leaned back to his chair. Only he knows how difficult it was for him to look at her. Whether he accepts it or not but he was getting drawn towards her nd somewhere at the back of his mind he knows dis fact but he don't want her to affect him in any way. So it's better if he as sternly as possible wid her. He could sense her uncomfortableness wen she was dere in his cabin, he also knows that she wants to know what he was thinking about last evening but he didn't t wanted to show her that she had affected him in any manner. His ego was not letting him to do that so its good if he keeps check on his emotions nd behaves as professional as he can wid her. He sighed after lots of thinking nd den gets back to his laptop to complete his task.

Sasha came to office an hour later den Maan. She was very happy as she knows that her plan must have succeeded nd Maan had thrown Geet out of the office now. She was so happy that she had given Tasha a week holiday as a reward for her good work of replacing the files. As she enters in the office she saw that all the staff was busy working as usual. It was hard to guess that wat happened at the conference room last day but as she passed by Geet's cabin she saw that Geet was not dere so it confirms her that her plan has finally got succeeded. She smirks at her victory nd headed towards maan's cabin to sympathies for the lost deal but least she knows that Geet had gone to pantry to make a coffee for herself.

She knocked the door excitedly nd as soon as Maan gives her permission to come inside she entered in his cabin smirking inwardly because in front of him she had to maintain her innocent posture.

"Good Morning MK" she said in a fake sweet voice while flattering her lashes nd Maan immediately raises his head to look at her.

"Good Morning Sasha. Hws ur mother now?" he said while again working on his laptop

"She's much better now MK. Tasha is dere in the hospital to look after her as I thought u may need me in the office." She said while showing hw much concerned she's for him.

"MK hw was the presentation last day?" she asked in order to know hw much her plan got succeeded in the presentation. But Maan didn't answer her as he was busy in concentrating the design on front of him.

"Oh! I understand. Y even I m asking it to you? I should have knows what must have happened in the presentation. Afterall it was Geet who was presenting it nd she just can't do anything efficiently. She had definitely messed up the presentation. It was my mistake to give her the responsibility of this presentation. I shouldn't have left last day like that. Atleast we would have got dis deal. Clients must be very angry na MK." She said mistaking his silence as the success of her plan but the next set of words of Maan both shocked nd surprised her.

"She is Brilliant!" Maan said while typing something on Laptop giving Sasha the biggest shock of her lyf.

"Excuse me MK!" she said in confusion still not sure whether she had heard correct or not.

"I said she's Brilliant. If today we got dis deal den it was all because of her." Maan said while closing his laptop nd looking at her.

"I don't get u MK" Sasha said while knotting her brown in confusion.

"U'll Sasha. But first tell me wat dis file is doing wid Tasha Last day." Maan said while showing her the file of old designs nd the color of Sasha's face has been drained out. So does that means that Maan had found out the truth, she thought but she maintained her composure not showing it to Maan hw scared she's is rite now.

"I asked you something Sasha. Answer me!!!" Maan almost roared at her nd Sasha jumps back in fear.

"Wo MK I asked Tasha to keep dis file at the archive as I thought that it can mix with the new one. But wats the matter MK" Sasha said meekly

"Wats the matter? Sasha because of Tasha's negligence last day we are about to lose dis deal. She collided wid the peon last day while going to Archive who was going to Geet's cabin to give her the file of new designs. The files got replaced wid each other nd Tasha didn't even bother to look at the contents of the file nd put it in the archive. Geet nd we all came to know about dis in the conference hall during the presentation. For once I felt that Dis Deal is going out form our hands but it was Geet who handled the situation. She had given the presentation wid that old Designs only wid some modifications of her own. Nd today if Mr. Mehta is impressed from us that it's just because of Geet who had handled the situation so intelligently." Maan said it all in anger not realizing that he was actually praising Geet.

"Sorry MK I didn't that Tasha had done such a blunder. It was just'." She tried to defend herself only to be interrupted by Maan.

"I don't want any excuse Sasha. Nd more den Tasha it was Ur mistake. It was Ur duty to check whether all the designs are correct or not before giving dis responsibility to Geet but u didn't. it was ur mistake that u had given such kind of responsibility to ur that clumsy assistant Tasha. Till now I thought that it's only Geet who was careless in work but she's much better den you both. It's just been a month since she's working over here that too as secretary yet the way she presented the whole designs last day was truly remarkable nd you both are working here from so long yet u both had done such type of mistakes. I haven't expected such carelessness from you both. If it was not Geet then KC's reputation would have been tarnished by now. she had saved the whole situation wid her intelligence nd presence of mind" Maan said while looking at Geet through the blinds nd Sasha felt like Strangling Geet's neck wen she saw him praising nd Looking Geet but she composed herself as Maan was already mad at her.

"I am Sorry MK. I assure you that from the next tym this kind of mistake will not happen" She said wid fake tears in her eyes.

"Better be because from next tym if I found such kind of negligence form you both den I wont hesitate in firing you both. Make one thing sure Sasha I hate negligence in work nd I even hate those people more who do dere work carelessly. Better make dis understand to ur clumsy Tasha too. Got it?" Maan said angrily nd Sasha just nodded to his statement.

Before he could say anything more the phone of his office rang. It was from Geet who had called him to inform about his Video conference. Maan asked her to do the arrangements for it while he was coming in a while. He ended the call nd headed towards the door but den suddenly stopped in his tracks nd looked at Sasha over his shoulders

"One more thing Sasha! From now on Geet is working wid me on dis project as Mr. Mehta wants both of us to be a part of it so I want you to concentrate on the rest of the projects. Am I clear to you" he said while still facing his back to her

"yes MK" Sasha said while seething in anger inwardly first for the failure of her plan second for facing Maan's wrath nd third for being Geet the incharge of this project.

"Hhmmm gud" Maan Said nd moves out from his cabin leaving Sasha behind burning wid anger nd Jealousy. She can't believe that everything will backfired like dis nd instead of Geet it would be she who'll face Maan's wrath. She was both angry nd Frustrated on the turn of events nd den dere consequences.

"The war is not yet over Geet. Just because u had won dis tym that doesn't mean that u'll win again. It was Ur good luck that u escaped from my trap but not Everytym Geet. Because of you MK had said so much to me, u snatched dis project from me; I'll definitely not leave you for this. U should have escaped dis tym but how long will you escape Geet. Sooner or Later u'll get trapped in my plan nd den MK who was praising you dis much today will himself throw you out from this office. This is my Promise to you" She said as she looked at Geet through the blinds nd Left Maan's cabin in rage nd jealousy.
