Ok, KS has a moral to the story these days..."What not to do if you dont want to turn into a brattish younger sis or bro"...Yes, the serial is a love story b/w a lovely younger woman-older man couple...Its a story of three sisters...Its even a bad thriller with the Park Road Raaz....But its also about "How being an only child might a boon?"...
Just look at the sibling relationships in the serial...The elder sibling is a tormented soul trying to cover up for the brattish younger sibling in all cases....😳...
1. Bani....Well, with two sisters like Pia and Rano, madam has her hands full...I mean one of them eloping is fine...but nther one almost did the same??...Gosh!!!...Its like that Oscar Wilde saying..."To lose one parent is fine, but to lose both is like gross carelessness..." (or smthing to that effect)....Only poor Bani darling is hardly to blame....She's just too nice thats all...and taken for granted...(I loved Rano's dialogue today though, she showed sm sense at last)
2. Ranveer....Well Well...Anu,and then Sahil....poor guy has his hands full...And while Bani married to save one sis...this chap has to marry to make the lives of both his siblings...well well....hope it turns out as good as it did for Bani...😳
3. Roshni....Ok, she's a vamp, and a witch when it comes to J-B...But then she's definitely a wonderful elder sis...(actually i am not sure if she's the elder one or not...so correct me on this one)...but she's definitely gone a long way to make things straight for her nephew and niece...And also supported her bro financially....hmmm...
4. Jai...Well, wouldnt have considered Jai a model of patience...but to have borne Jigyasa for so many years with such fortitude speaks volumes..😆...on a more serious note, he's been a pretty good guy....provided a home for his sis, bro-in-law and their children...been teh benevolent patriarch and a loving uncle...way to go Jai!!!
5. Puskhar's elder bro...Alrite...admittedly this is an outside entry....wouldnt classify Pushkar as a brat..or his bro as a model elder sibling...But all said and done, P did make things pretty hot for his family with his irresponsible elopement...And yes, it was hs sis-in-law to the rescue...
KS defintely seems to be living to the grand old Indian tradition of mking the elder sibling the father/mother figure...Wish the younger ones did not always have to be such troublemakers though...They are not always such brats u know...Am a younger one myself, so cn vouch for that.......
