||Bittersweet Moments||
Khushi clutched the plate with both her hands,her eyes wide in shock.Arnav gently made her sit down on the sofa seat ,a smirk growing on his lips.
His fingers slipped between on hers and led the spoon of kheer towards his mouth.
Khushi's heartbeats raced in sync with her heavy breaths.
"What did you want to say?"he softly whispered his voice dripping with the sweetness of honey.
Arnav Singh Raizada and sweetness never went together.
Literally and metamorphically.
"Uhh I wanted to.say..." she trailed off as he invaded her mouth with a spoonful of sweetness.
Her eyes popped out,apparently looking for traces of the extra-terrestrial creature who had taken over her mighty husband.
Arnav silently glared at her with his eyes.
Shut up and keep acting-they said.
She didn't need to be told,that pair of eyes bore a look which she had learnt to understand.
Anjali looked on from above with an unusual smile playing on her dreary face lighting it up like the flashing neon bulbs on the dusty streets of chandni chowk.
"You haven't eaten anything today no?" he popped another spoon in her mouth with the sweetness of a lion seeking its prey.
Khushi Singh Raizada might have been a prey for him.
But he forgot.
Khushi Kumari Gupta clawed her insides ,roving with the ferocious look of the lioness.
"Two can play the same game Mr Raizada"she thought and curled up her lips into a sweet smile.
"Arnav ji what about that delicious choco lava cake you got me yesterday at midnight ?mmm..."
Arnav looked at her with surprise ,taking a peek at anjali's face which was now melting into a stern look.
"what the??"he alarmingly glanced at anjali and back at Khushi.
"Arre what what the what the? You only told me to not tell anything about it to anjali ji and others!"she said with a mock expression of annoyance.
Anjali huffily turned her back on them and moved towards her room.
Khushi tilted her face upwards smiling and turned to the lion.
"Checkmate Mr Raizada"she winked,leaving behind a flabbergasted Arnav clutching onto the plate of bittersweet moments.
The lion had found his match.
^^I literally don't know what made me write thisđsorry for it being short and wrote it in a hurry but I swear I wan't the tables turned on Arnav for ONCE.The expressions would be Pricelessđ¤Ł
