Kalki to star opposite Emraan in Daayan

For director Vishal Bharadwaj, the search for his female lead in an upcoming film has been a long run. Vishal's dreams of roping in Vidya Balan after seeing her on-screen chemistry with Emraan Hashmi in 'The Dirty Picture' were shattered when Vidya refused to do the film.

So, Vishal went forward and signed Kalki Koechlin for the female lead in 'Daayan'. The actress, who has won accolades for her acting skills in Dev D and The Girl In Yellow Boots, will be seen sharing the screen space with Emraan Hashmi for the first time.

Well, lets hope that the fresh pairing works wonder for Vishal Bharadwaj.
