@Anna: Good post..
You have clearly stated the state of mind of ASR.. He has shut his feelings out, and prioritized his sister over everything else.. He does'nt let himself think about himself or his love..The first episode was a classic example, where Arnav was shown giving a blow to his chachaji for his chachaji's betrayal.. There was no ounce of feeling from Arnav when his chachaji was asking for a reprive.. The scene of Khushi with Shyam has etched his mind, and he is donning the role of punisher.. But he punishes himself and her.. She is suffering and so is he..For now, he thinks Shyam has gone down after his warning.. He needs to see one more action from Shyam and then he'll land it back to him...

Good post...n this is expected from u always...😆 Koyi Arnav ko kuch mahi bol shakti.🤣 i m not upset on Arnav ...me full on chill.😆 after throwing Khushi from room i didn't ever expect higher matter from Arnav that he will support khushi on every step...infact, yesterday he was so cool than another day..at least he didn't tell more harsh words to Khushi...so, there is no reason being wrath on Arnav...but i m not enduring Khusi's pain anymore yaar.😔😒
@above- I dont think he is hurting intentionally but yes his hurt is what is stopping him from showing care and concern for khushi and support ..he is just trying to protect his loved ones..his survival tactic is to use ppl weakness as your strength..that a business mind approach he follows...actually there is so much depth in this character that makes you what to understand him..so I understand you completely here...😛..P.S: I like all your posts in this forum.. Seems like there are people who are ready to look at the other side of coin..I loved reading all replies too 😃 ..very thought provoking..hope this can end bashing streak...I am seriously fed up of that..
I understand ASR but I don't think he is justified in the cruelty (I know a very strong word but that's what it was/is when he pushed her out to sleep in the cold and continues to keep her out there ...and throwing blanket does not count for concern) he is subjecting her to. Not defending her in front of his family I get because it goes against his mantra to make Kushi suffer but treating her inhumanly is a no no ...that to without giving any reason for what you are doing.
So what I am trying to say is that we can say we understand him but cannot justify his action by saying he has a horrible past. Kushi too has a past, she also lost her parents and yet again made an orphan, lost everything near and dear to her ….now you'll say that his behavior is emerging from what he saw at the terrace and his sister is his main priority, therefore making it his prime objective to make Kushi pay but can't he not for a minute sit and think …why would a girl sacrifice her happiness in order to save her sister's marriage but would want to ruin his sister's marital union? (I guess not because the CV's want prolong this track for as long as they can!)
Nevertheless good discussion…
PS: I hope that this kind benevolence is bestowed upon Kushi when she refuses to forgive Arnav (I am assuming that she won't forgive him easily but with these creative you never know! 😆)
PS2: I am not a fan follower of either K or A …I watch this show for what it is without trying to discover hidden meaning but sometime like to take part in discussions that are intriguing …so please refrain from tagging me as an ASR basher :)
PS3: I do realise this post has turned out to be longer then intended…apologies for that!
Take care

OMG! thank you so much for posting a topic like this :| you hardly find topics like these on the forums now days! i m so glad there are others who understand his POV too! i feel khushi and arnav are both right in their places .. both are going through a very tough phase in their life and come on be real you cant expect him to be all LOVEY DOVEY with her and kiss her when all he can think about is how she betrayed him n how she is trying to break his dis shaadi everytime he looks at her! he is just doing what someone would do if he/she was in a position like him .. he is doing everything for his di .. and she is doing everything for her di .. so in the end really .. its all about loving your siblings LOL!
i m not liking the way he is treating her either but then again he has a reason a VERY good reason so i totally understand him n his pov along with khushis ... just cause i am defending ASR doesnt mean i think khushi is wrong .. like i said .. both are right in their places .. and its not like he is enjoying this either .. whenever he hurts her or treats her like shit he feels the pain too .. so its not easy for both of them :) ...LOVED LOVED THE POST! thank you so much for this <3
