films like ready, ra-one etc. I honestly doubt if they even wrote scripts for them at the first place 😆 more like salman bhai ap zara apni do teen famous lines bol dena when the camera gets on you and we'll see what next to do! and srk with ra-one, i should better not comment! calling them half baked is even a compliment, they were that bad!
i liked dostana! it was a well written movie and no it wasnt half baked! from start to end it stuck to its theme! even the end was thoughtful!! and yet it managed to make us laugh! we should have intelligent comedies like these! now a days especially comedies like ready etc are not even half baked! terrible!

Nope, without half-baked plots there'd be nearly no plots at all.
That's why it's hard to complain about the actors and be fair. The god's honest truth is that these people can only perform in the roles they are offered, and if those roles seem to have been conceived by some half wasted, middle aged men suffering from sexual frustration the ideas probably aren't going to be worth the damp cocktail napkins they were scrawled on.
Ra.One is a case in point. Are you telling me that the best minds in Hindi cinema (and make no mistake SRK could afford the best) could only come up with THAT lame ass and uninvolving plot? Srsly now?
I won't even go into utter trash like Thank You, which was jaw droppingly bad and offensive from start to finish...Rascals anyone?
Again, nothing but aging guys' wet dreams about how great it would be to be able to get away with anything with women and never be called on it.
No, no, and just...NO.
So here's a question, how valued are writers in Bollywood? I know the whole thing revolves around the star system as did our Hollywood back in the '30s but even then writers were important parts of the whole.

No. That's Bollywood for you. Either move on or have your half-baked dinner.

Properly baked scripts don't receive their dues so let the directors make their $$ by what the audiences crave for.
