PART - 2 (part 79)

Maan got hell scared seeing Geet go limp in his arms. He immediately picked her up and carried her to their bedroom. He gently placed her on the bed and patted her cheeks, but Geet didn't wake up. He even tried sprinkling water on her face but it had no result.

"Jaan please get up. Kya hua tumhe. You are scaring me. Please utho na'"

Maan immediately called the doctor who promised to be there within 15 minutes even though she was busy in an emergency. After all it was Maan Singh Khurana who had called her and she couldn't dare to defy his orders.

But these 15 minutes were the worst of his life. He kept on trying to wake up Geet. Unknown to him, tears streamed down his face. For the first time in life, he was feeling truly helpless. Finally when he heard the doorbell, he rushed to open the door and escorted the doctor inside. The doctor looked a little suspicious seeing Geet and she looked at her skeptically.

"She is my fiance."

The doctor was shocked. She couldn't say a word after that. Even Maan was totally shocked at his own words. But one thing he was sure of was that he couldn't bear anyone pointing finger at their relationship or Geet. Even though he didn't trust her or her intentions, still he couldn't bear anyone questioning her integrity. He tried to justify his own actions to himself. His thoughts were interrupted by the doctor.

"please wait outside while I check her."

"NO. I will not go anywhere leaving her."

The doctor tried explaining him but he stayed adamant. Finally doctor sighed and checked her in front of him. The doctor already could guess what happened to her after listening to what Maan told her. Now her thoughts got confirmed after checking her. She took an injection to give it to her.

"What happened to her? And why are you giving her an injection?"

Maan got very worried seeing the injection and moreover the doctor had not even told him till now that what was wrong with his jaan.

"Don't worry Mr. Khurana. This is just a multivitamin injection. Actually she is quite weak and it will help her in gaining consciousness faster."

She patiently explained to Maan while giving the injection. After checking everything once again, she finally turned towards him. She took a deep breath and told him.

"Mr. Khurana, there is nothing to worry about. Actually there is a good news your fiance is one month pregnant, aap papa ban ne waale hain. Congratulations."

She finally finished telling him and looked up to see his reaction.
