Sanskara/ Moral Values- Chavi/Sandhya

We all know that while education is important and contributes towards adding culture, giving morals, it is not really the only factor.

Upbringing is the most important factor. Our parents give us our moral values and sanskara. This was so well brought out in the contrast between Chavi and Snadhya. Both are about the same age and have similar education. But how different they are.

Chavi is selfish, spoilt, greedy, arrogant and rude. Sandhya is completely opposite.

It was amazing to see how Chavi having found out Meena's plot cunningly used it to her own advantage and manipulated her brother and Meena to get Rs 10,000.

Sandhya was offered jewellery and money, chose the removal of purdah.

Just goes to show that Sandhya's parents had better sanskaras than Bhabho does.

Bhabho has hollow and hypocritical values.

Even after all this she does not have the capacity or the heart to value Sandhya. Even now she will believe that Sandhya is playing games and using clever tricks- just as she did with the dustbin drama.
