The Delhi Wedding
PROLOGUE
Yash & Aarti have been married for 6 months but are still striving hard to intermingle. Yash still cherishes the memories of the winsome era spent with his departed wife Arpita and Aarti is still under the torment of his ex-husband, a sadomasochist. Their kids from their previous marriages have however blended with everyone specially with new siblings & new mummy papa.
P.S. Imagine the BGM of 'vinnaithandi viruvaya' while reading 😳
Part-I
Delhi Tour
"Good morning maa!" Ansh wakes her mom up aand plants a small peck on her cheeks.
"Good morning Ansh! Arre baap re! Its 9! 😲 main itni der tak soti rahi 😲 maaji bohot naraaz hongi "
And she runs towards the kitchen & finds nobody.
She call out for the servants, "Nakoool!😆 Ramesh! Suresh!!...kahaan gaye sab" 😲
She reaches the study and finds Yash😳 working on his lappy.
"Yashji! You didn't go to the office?"
"Today is 15th Aug."
"So?"
"Independence Day"
"Ohh"😆
"I can't find anybody at home...sab kahaan hai"
"Kala Bhawan mein aaj programme hai. Papa is invited as chief guest. Sab unke saath gaye hain"
"Ok" She nods & leaves.
AFTERNOON
Yash is packing his clothes. Aarti enters.
"You going somewhere?" She asks anxiously.
"Delhi. For wedding planning. It would take a week. Sorry I didn't tell You before...I..uhh..I forgot". He notices her long sad face so continues.."Would you like to come."
Startled Aarti brightens up gleefully but says,"I can't ! Seraph & Cherubs'(Yash's daughters) exams are starting from next week!"
He looks at her and passes a genuine smile.😊
The kids enter the room and Yash informs them about his tour.
Yash picks up Ansh & asks , "What else do you want with basketball?"
"Video-game" says Ansh delightedly
"How do you know he wanted a basketball?" curious Aarti asks.
Yash shows her the letter Ansh gave him a couple of days back .
Aarti becomes emotional but soon controls herself.
"Papa! Papa! Mummy ke liye saari laana...achchi vaali...pink colour vaali". Shout the gals 😆
Both Yash & Aarti look at each other and giggle.
Yash kisses the kids,asks Aarti to take care of everybody and...herself & says "Main yahan se office jaaoonga & then Vahan se we'll leave to the airport ".
Aarti nods & smiles.
Yash leaves.
OFFICE
The office staff :
- Kanica - Yash's chief manager. Vicious & haughty. She secretly loves Yash.
- Aakanksha- Yash's stupid secretary. She too loves him.
- Aditti- Vivacious receptionist.
- Praneet-The only genuine staff memeber.
- Abhishek-happy go lucky chap
Yash enters. Every girl droool over him.😳😆
"So! Guys r u ready?"
Aakanksha says thoughtless,"Kabse😍...Ooops silly me 😆"
Praneet giggles "hehehehehehe😆😆"
"Praneet!" shouts Yash.
Abhishek to himself "deja-vu? uhh?" 😳😉😆
They leave for The Airport.
A couple of days pass by.
Venue-Singhania Mansion
"Mummy! Mummy!Mummy!" Shout kids running towards Aarti.
"Aa gaye School se? 😊 kaisa raha din?"
Seraph: mummy humaare exams postpone ho gaye. September se start honge ab.
Ansh: Aur mumma iss saal humaara Child Fest Delhi mein hai. We have to reach there by tomorrow
Aarti: School vaale bhi ajeeb hain! Do din pehle bata dete to hum Yash ji ke saath hee challe jaate.
Cherub: mummy maine aur Seraph ne to participate nahi kiya 😭 aur kal humaara G.K. Quiz bhi hai 😭 😭
Aarti hugs them & says "Koi baat nahi baby! Aap next time chalna"😊 She kisses them , takes permission from her in-laws & leaves.
DELHI⭐️
After reaching Delhi Aarti takes Ansh in the metro to reach their venue. Ansh seems to enjoy the metro ride.
They reach 'Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium' where they have to stay but she sees nobody around. 😲
A watchman shouts,"kisse milna hai madam?"
"Yahan jo program hone vaala hai...participate kar rahe bachche yahin thehar rahe haina?"
"Haanji. Par andar parents allowed nahi hain"
Soon Ansh's principal comes out.
Ansh: Good evening ma'am!😊
Principal: Good evening beta! Mrs. Singhania Im sorry but we can't allow You to enter with him. Rules are rules."
Aarti: It's ok. I'll try & manage. Bye Ansh.
She kisses Ansh & leaves.
Aarti in self talk mode 😆 "Bye bolke aa to gayi par main jaaoongi kahan😕 Shaam bhi dhalti jaa rahi hai😭"
She keeps on walking & reaches South Delhi's Cantt. Area. When she realises where she actually is , she starts crying😭 "Im standing in one of the most haunted places of the country!😕 Woh bhi akele! 😕Who bhi not so good night mein😭! Help!" It starts raining. "Koi hai! Help"
She soon sees a man under a jeep repairing it.
"Suniye! I'm lost! Could you pls help me"
The guy comes out of jeep. Its YASH. Both are startled.
"Aarti! Is this for real? what are you doing here?"
Aarti explains him everything. Yash wipes off his tears.
"Stop crying. Ab kiss baat ka darr?"
"Now Im ok". she smiles. "Jeep theek ho gayi? Chalein?"
"Nahi...theek nahi huyi"
"Lets walk! resort thoda door hee hai"
Aarti nods and they start walking.
Chandani raat 😍 Tez barsaat 😍 Empty roads 😍
Yash & Aarti walking hand-in-hand 😍 So that she doesnt slip!😛
"Ever been to delhi before?"
"Ya! I did my graduation here."
"Really? Even I did it here.😃 Year?"
"2005"
"Well! I was 3 years senior to you" 😊
Both smile.
"Kal Ansh ka programme kitne baje hai?"
"12! noon-time"
"Great! I'll also accompany you"
"Yash ji...you sure? Wont your work suffer"
"Dont worry!"😊
They reach the resort & Yash shows her the way to room. Aarti enters & sees a small double bed. She feels uneasy as both of them have never shared same bed. One of them lies on the couch every alternate day. Both of them become apprehensive. 😳
Yash: Wait ... I'll get myself another room.
Aarti: Uski zaroorat nahi! Bed is huge. We both can share same bed.
Suddenly a huge wind ball gales their window flying her wet pallu off😳. Embarrassed YASH faces her back towards her.
"Jao change karlo"
"Ji"😕
Yash & Aarti nervously lie on the bed after changing & face their back towards each other. 😳😕
