I get why everyone's getting all so frustrated with Anjali for being so blind and apparently "insensitive" but before that article came out about Anjali being "clingy", no one really gave it a thought! Everyone was LOVING Anjali when she tried to get Arnav and Khushi together and now because she wants answers from her brother, she doesn't have a backbone?! Honestly, I think Anjali is an AMAZING sister. She takes care of her brother SOOO much! She can read his eyes, she knows when he's in pain and she just feels him! If she's questioning his motive of getting married so quickly, I don't get what's wrong?! I think EVERYONE ought to know why Arnav would suddenly take such a strong and hasty decision! Anjali and Nani KNOW Arnav. They KNOW he's always taking quick decisions, which he usually regrets later but they also KNOW Khushi and never expected her to just SUDDENLY get married so of course, she's going to go all WOAHHH on them! As far as crying is concerned, her brother was rude to her. He shut the damn door in her face! Her brother did not involve HER in his biggest happiness when SHE was the one to encourage him to SAY his heart out. Of course she hasn't figured out that he married Khushi to protect her but where she is looking at this situation, I think she has a FULL RIGHT to be angry with Arnav and Khushi! She loves them the most and THEY didn't trust her enough to confide in her that they're going to get married! If my brother did that to me, I'd be SUPER pissed!!
Okay, yeah she does over-cry a bit but because she loves them SO much and she's VERY sensitive! Every little thing means something to her. RELATIONSHIPS are VERY important to her and the only valuable relationship she has is with her brother and her husband. Her 'chottay' is PRIORITY in her list - we know that because she said she was scared to leave her 'chottay' alone, if she would've died in the accident. She knows that Arnav is as broken as she is and so even the little bit of happiness they get, she'd LOVE to share it! I get what you mean with the whole weak act and stuff, but it's not her fault! Arnav has always loved his Di and to some extent spoilt her! He's given her WHATEVER she's wanted, he's WIPED her tear THE MINUTE they've fallen out of her eyes and even now, this marriage is to PROTECT HER! To save HER life from falling apart again! So Anjali is totally justified in whatever she did!
Eventually, when she does come to know about Shyam that's when she'd probably "grow some". Right now, she doesn't need to. She's delicate, sensitive and fragile but she's happy in her life (well, she was until her brother decided to get married without telling her). When Shyam is revealed that's when she's going to be going through the transition phase of becoming a stronger woman, a strong mother and a strong sister! Right now, it's totally in her character to be weak and vulnerable!!
