I think as Gurmeet himself said that he wants to give justice to all his characters and give his 200%
The people who has watched Ramayan cannot forget him as Ram
The people who has watched Geet HSP cannot forget him as Maan.
But in Gurmeet's word.. at both the time he is Gurmeet himself and he gave his 200% so that he will be remembered in those roles always..
Now he has taken the 3rd role and he is confident that we will like this third role as much..
Earlier when he did Geet he had only those people following him who loved his as Ram
Now he has two very successful shows and all those multiple fans following him in Punervivah..
It might be possbile that so may fans will be watching him for the first time as this show is on ZeeTV and with a wider viewers span..
So He is going to have many more in this show who will just love him as Yash as much people loved him as Ram and As Maan..
And I think that is why Gurmeet was keen in changing his look as Yash so that he can make Yash also as popular as Ram and as Maan.
It is the same person The Ram the Maan and Yash now..
People will loved him as Yash as much ...
