u r absolutly rite which parent wouldnt want their kids to see high moral building programs.but if so much manipulation is shown on national tv the first thing a parent would want to protect will be their kids@Nafisa, as a mother of almost 12 year old girl, who used to watch the show with me, I think as a parent I have a right to be afraid for my kiddi as you put it, every parent does. At first I thought she would learn to speak Hindi and also see the power of prayer and see how if you are good it can influence people to change. I made her stopped watching the show and let her watch her Disney channel shows again.
I know in India lot of families watch the show together so yes I think we should all be worried for the future generation and how a TV can influence them.
Talk about double standards...This is the limit of stupidity to the umpteenth power...
There was an article that someone posted (sorry don't remember the post or the person who posted it...too pissed to go and find it), and that post had a article that said the heads of the TV do not want to show too much of hugging and all that romantic stuff because of the kids watching and the bad influence that would befall them...Now here is where the double standards come in...it is ok to show sick and evil people win and the good people always crying and loosing, but it is not good to show loving? Are these heads for real? W*Fð¡...Can someone explain to me how this makes sense???OMGThe heads are ð€¬ idiots who could not even have morals let alone teach some to the kids ð€¬Sorry for going off like that but seriously, where does it all make sense? Please someone help meðð²
Personally I love the show, but I do have to say that I don't let my 13 year old sister watch it. I'm old enough to know the rights and wrongs of my actions and although I'd hope my little sister is mature enough to make the right decisions, she's still at the age where she could be influenced by seeing a young girl getting away with so many wrong doings without consequences.
My parents have instilled morals in all of us but as a young child she is still learning from her surroundings and environment so no SNS for her!! (Even though she's got a little crush on Ahem!! So I let her watch the VMs!!)
I agree with you I have a 9 month old and I saw to was awful, and I also remember the article ... , so what CVs showed us today at the pooji was awful and how the pandit argued was not good , it also showed that they were agreed... I really don't know what to think... I did not get a chnace to talk with my mom or grandma, but I am going to ask what they thought of today.Talk about double standards...This is the limit of stupidity to the umpteenth power...
