We are, especially kids and youngsters are living lives of unbearable pressure to win medals, to come first come what may, to be successful at any cost. Parents are always on their kids' backs though for their own good. Nowadays, we dont find any parents who say, beta, its ok. Take your own time. No parent can afford to say these words. Because time runs out and others race ahead. Whether one is rich or poor, everyone is forced to work hard and harder.
If one works sincerely, it does not mean that one has to forego life's little pleasures. We can always balance things out.
