Payal has failed Khushi everytime Khushi needs her support. ANd that too, when Khushi always got in trouble saving Payal's ass. When Khushi returned late during Payal's first marriage, Payal did not have the courage to tell her family that the plan was not only Khushi's. They were both equally responsible for that debacle. But Payal kept quite letting Khushi take all the blame.

When Shyam-Khushi engagement fiasco happened, Payal was very much aware that Khushi does not want this engagement. Ok she didnt know the real reason, but she understood that Khushi does not want Shyam. But she did nothing to reduce the pressure or intervene. She let Khushi get engaged to a person Khushi was not interested in at all...

Last night again, she just stood there crying her eyes out. Her tears reflected her anger and sadness as her most special day was spoiled. I did not see any expression on her face where she was concerned or worried about Khushi or even confused about this action.
She has the first hand knowledge -
  • Khushi does not like Arnav ( Thats what Payal think)
  • Khushi has great passion for marriage and wedding rituals
  • Khushi seemed lost and upset earlier

Even if she was shocked to see them, the first thought to her mind should have been - this is not Khushi!! there is something fishy about this all.. at the very least she could have given a hug to khushi and asked her if she is ok... Atleast this much Khushi deserved from her Payal jiji

Payal is a gone case. Why even have such a character on the show is beyond me. What purpose does she serve? Nada! LA was more useful in moving the story forward. I say kill the Payal character and save some money. we dont need insipid lifeless characters.

Edit - strong words, i know. i am only half serious. so anyone who reads dont go berserk.

Yeah, she is required for the storyline dear 😉 But CVs do not have to make her so spineless. They can give a couple of face saving dialogues to her as well.. We all know, she can not really make any changes to a situation like Khushi can. but even silent support from her will ensure that she does not look like a selfish and self centered person
