Hello everybody!
So I was getting bored and decided to look at crockroaxz's performances again on youtube.
Then I saw many videos with the name of Raghav in a group "D Mania X" on the show Chak Dhoom Dhoom and while watching this group's performances I saw one particular video after which I am so disappointed with Terrence sir!

http://youtu.be/xz31MW2xbMQ

It is the exact same song, exact same concept and most parts of the choreography are the same as Chotu and Raghav's performance in the WildCard episode!
I really thought Terrence came up with a nice idea and showed us a great performance there but unfortunately.. it was just a copy of a performance already done on another show.

you dont have to be disappointed...
a lot of the choreographers of chak dhoom dhoom teams are terence's assistants...they were never mentioned on the show...or seen...
but they did choreograph the groups...some of them did...

this might have been choreographed by one of them...
im not sure who was choreographer for what...

also terence is very open to taking and listening to his contestants...
like he has mentioned...this was shakti/ krutis concept...
jai said terence trusted him to choreograph some of the solos...
and he said for raghav...that a lot of what he does comes from him...

Yes, I've seen that performance on CDD too and I also thought of that connection. But there's a difference between copying and being inspired. Terence's choreography was completely different.

I can see that Remo and Geeta were also inspired by Sushant and Shampa's JDJ performances. How can you not be, really, these two were awesome! lol For example, Remo's solo for Lipsa when she got eliminated...as well as Geeta's patriotic act on "maula mere". However in both of these cases, the choreography was completely different. It's another story that the choreography was totally half-baked and boring. But it was still different. You can't say that either Geeta or Remo "copied" from Sushant-Shampa.

Similarly in this case too...I am not surprised Terence is indeed inspired from CDD performances. CDD was such an awesomely creative show only...who can help being inspired. And the funny thing is that this group- D Maniax is Raghav/Crockroax's group only. :P 😆

But Terence had his own take on this choreography. I thought his choreography had many unique dance steps and moments. Even the way he used that song...like the "AC" bit and the chemistry between Raghav and Chottu etc. It was completely different! The dance steps were just way different. And while the CDD performance was more about speed...since that was their challenge...Terence's act was more about making those "shapes" we see with equalizers. Similar concept, but different treatment.

It's the treatment that was different. Yes Terence was definitely inspired from this performance, but I thought he gave it his own take. I found that performance quite refreshing and interesting to watch EVEN though I had seen this CDD performance previously.
