I had to go out, some place where I wouldn't see my father's face. I hurried out of the room, not even daring to take one more look at the blood on the carpet.
Taking one small step out of the house, I looked back inside. This same place where my happiness once lay and now it's my nightmare. The same place I had grew up, the same place that I loved is now what I hate. And now, I knew that I had to forget it, even one memory will bring back the painful event that happened today.
Quickly wiping my tears away, and taking another uncertain step into the wilderness. The cold flushed around me, making the world more frightening. The weather looked horrible; it looked as if a storm was coming by.
I didn't know where I was going, but I knew one thing for sure- I had to go somewhere far away from home. Far away from my mother's dead body, far away from my father.
I walked past the nearby shop, not making any eye contact with anyone. I had passed the town church, and nearly tripped over an umbrella. Then I walked into the park.
I realised how everything was really quiet. No soul in sight. A suddenly breeze blew over me, making me shiver. The leafs danced among the breeze- in bright colours- orange, red, green, and yellow. The trees swayed in the breeze. The dandelion fluff flew everywhere in the air. The green grass looked wet with the morning dew. The flowers stayed perfectly still as if nothing had happened.
I thought of what just happened; her father and the gun, & her mother dying- knowing that I could never go back to home. I could never trust her father ever again, not after what just happened. I would have to find another place to call home. A place far away from my father.
Creek! I heard something move. I turned around to look, but there was nothing in sight. Then I heard it again, and looked around. Nothing.
Black. Everything went pitch black. I felt a hand on my arm, squeezing me tightly. I heard heavy breathing, but I didn't know what was happening. Then someone took the strange material off my head.
I found myself in a small van. There were probably about 6 men in the van with me. They were all very tall, and looked dark; dark coloured hair and they looked filthy. I saw a strange tall dark figure come out of the shadow. His hair was black and looked wet, and silky. The man was muscular but his face didn't match his body. The face looked scary in some way; it was small, a scar ran down from his hair line to the edge of his eye brow, and he had a dirty smile on his face. His teeth were yellow with some black, and his ears were pierced. He wore diamond earrings.
He fiddled with some rope as he walked more closer to me. The man then tied me tightly to a chair with the rope, whilst I struggled to get out. He then took a step back and looked over me.
"Now, now, look who we have here boys, isn't it that Gandhi's child?" said the man. "Girl, what's your name?" he focused on me now.
"I-I um, what do you want with me?" I murmured, also adding a whimper at the end. "I never did anything to you."
"Girl, I asked what was your name, don't question me!" shouted the voice, it sounded angrier now. "Aanil, if she doesn't tell us her name, then tell what happens to people that don't listen" the man continued. I heard something come near me; but I couldn't see the person, because it was coming behind me.
"I um- I um, um my name is Monia Gandhi. What do you want with me?" I tried to reach my phone in my pocket without getting noticed. But to my bad luck, someone did and they grabbed it out of my hand before I could do anything. Nice going Monia (sarcasm).
"None of that young lady or the consequences will be bad! Raju take us there, now!" the voice demanded. I could see some sunlight as the vehicle roared to life.
"Ok Charvaka" Raju bellowed. And they drove into the darkness...
