Why do you stand for what is right?

As a human being, it is very important to stand up for what you think is correct. For me as Koki, I have to manage my family and hence need to make sure no injustice is done. Har ek insaan ko sachai ka saath dena chahiye - Rashi ki niyat saaf nahi hai aur isiliye aisi bahu ka saath nahi dena chahiye.

Obviously it's not easy, so how do you overcome the obstacles you face?

As a true and honest person, I can tell you that family members are the first people who pose an obstacle when you take a stand against something. Kaafi kathinaiyon se gujar na padhta hai. People start suspecting your intentions also and it hurts when your own family members doubt you. But I think in my family, by now, everyone knows that if Koki is saying something, there must be some truth to it!

What does it take to change the way society thinks?

Whatever is in your heart and your mind should also be on your tongue. Agar aapke vaani, vyavhaar aur vichaar alag hote hai to aap samaaj mein parivartan nahi la sakte ho. Any family member who manipulates things for their own selfish motive should be taught a lesson.
