Iam really gonna try hard to maintain sanity while writing my take on the episode today! Even for an ever optimistic person and someone who doesn't need a 22 min RaYa episode daily, it is definitely disappointing.Did CV's want to celebrate Nutz's birthday party today and are Valentine celebrations not until tomorrow?? I doubt it post today's precap.The episode had skyrocketing expectations, thanks to y'day's episode build up and the precap!Pffft!I came bumming on the ground with a thud louder than the NASA rocket launch! Iam so ticket off becoz they had such wonderful romantic ideas but just spoilt the moment by rushing it!
Here are the RaYa scenes. On second thoughts, we did have enough for a RaYalicious episode. slick editing and poor follow through made it just worse!@
1)Bindi Scene: Fair enough we expected more. But Cv's did start well with all the teasing by Priya. And Ram had enough obstacles before reaching Priya. Yup! But then what happened?? It lasted exactly as much as they showed in the precap.Probably 2 more secs of Priya's eyes closed with expectations and Ram smiles knowingly and leaves.
2)SALSA - They killed the scene(not in the positive sense). Everything that could go wrong went that way! First RaYa didn't dance together! Neha and Ram danced and there was a parallel convo between Vik and Priya. It could have easily been Ram asking Priya for an impromptu dance and then Vik/Neha telling Priya abt Ram's efforts! By making the scenes parallel, the effect was nullified. IT was done in a jiffy with running commentary and before I know it, Priya was shedding tears for her Veteran Hubby!! There was a Thank you and a smiley acknowledgement from Ram, which did nothing for me honestly! I was wondering instead of a romantic moment, they managed to make it sacrificial! Pretty odd tho!
3)RaYa Convo - Priya being the dutiful wife and trying to care for Ram by getting the first aid kit! Ram letting her know that nothing matters in comparison to the happiness on Priya's face and Priya gets all upset saying that she is done with the wishes! we are just half way there! She is just gonna wait for the results and Ram is surprised that it's already time. That was my reaction too ! What happ to the 7 day and 7 wishes?Isn't that like 2 weeks and 3 days in serial world?
4) Precap - Ram and Priya praying in their minds! Ram wishing that it doesn't get difficult for Priya and Priya thanking that in the worst of times, she is happy to have the most dear /special person with her!
Again.. The whole RaYa parts were rushed.. I think they want to move the story forward by brewing trouble(Nutz). They have the Harry entry pending too! And they decided to zip zap zippity zoom with RaYa romance. The disappointment is partly because the track of BC was primarily done for 2 reasons. 1) Awareness and 2)RaYa getting closer. Awareness is something that hasnt really happened so far. Hoping that they would do some last minute better job on that.
RaYa's closeness is still a looong way to go! They were all moving in towards a realization but this abrupt ending leaves a questionmark. Yes.. They can finally have a convo. But a BC scare needn't do that.. Any thing on a much smaller scale would have done that! .
5) Priya-Shipra Scene : The first 4 mins or so was beautifully done. Priya teasing Ram on one end and talking to Shipra about her looks and even asking for a pimple cure! Priya Kapoor rocked tht scene with those ever perfect expressions. Shipra noticing the changes in Priya and asking her the reason.. Priya is definitely not gonna let her know that she loves Ram! Keep guessing Shipra! You are still way too off coz u r taking shots at good news! You are gonna be soo shocked to know that they sleep on the couch and bed respectively!đ
6)Shipra finally got her chance to get back at all the high society crap being thrown at her. Oh boy, she nailed it with her taunts! While iam never too much for a crappy Saas Bahu relationship, this one seems to be the just what the doc ordered!. And yeah, this is gonna take ugly turns pretty soon!
THE BIG MISSES OF TODAY!
1)Oh Well, part with the Nutz drama..And the fitting phrase for those parts is this:
Haven't we had Karthik being ridiculed by Nutz so called high class friends during the start of the show? 8 months later we dont need to watch it again with no change in attitudes.
Nutz cares more about her friends than her In-laws! She is still embarrassed to be associated with the middle class presents that her hubby can provide. I say.. What's new???
2)So much wastage on spreading the news about Ayesha as the show stopper. Ayesha takes 2 mins to inform Sid. Then Sid takes another 2 mins and informs Nih and Mamaji with more masala tadka! Ayesha shares it with Priya and then with Ram! Apart from the decoding of this action by Niharika leading to more wastage of screen space..Can Somebody just get a mike and make that announcement abt this and get over it! We have some serious stuff to close out here.
THAT's ME at the end of the spread the word game :(.. We got the message! Move on please!So the next track appears to be heading towards a separation of RaYa or atleast the effort for it. Nutz insanity has reached new heights and Shipra is not gonna take it lying down. We are ready for World war 3 baby! Nih is not too pleased with all tht romance happening with RaYa. So finally some plan that would half work or work is coming up as we read this! We are heading towards high TRP's coz a lot of meaningless, high voltage, high drama bullshit is gonna be cooked background! So let's wait for the ride!
IAM NOT ANGRY.. JUST DISAPPOINTED!! Iam sure I will get over it soon and be jumping high!
