Sham Marriage to shut up Snake Shyam

Ever since I saw the bindi scene where Arnav sticks the bindi on the mirror instead of giving it to her or putting it on her himself, I felt that we are headed for a pretense marriage, although I was skeptical about voicing it. Seeing the latest promo I am more or less sure that we are headed in that direction. Like in the bindi scene, Arnav may let the world think they are married while they really are not.

Looks like Arnav is going to confront Khushi about Shyam. Since she herself is dying to tell about him, she is likely to pour out everything which he may or may not believe. If they follow the clichd route, he may be shown to be too angry to see it rationally and we may see him disbelieving every word she utters. He may cut her short and instead demand that she marry him in return for him allowing her sister's marriage to go through. If they really want this show to be different, they may show him recollect all the scenes which substantiate her story and believe her but since he is just out of one big shock, he may not declare his true feelings to her but instead make deal with her according to which they will pretend they are married in front of their families for the sake of their siblings. Although Khushi has had tall dreams of how her wedding should be and such pretense goes against her character, she will agree for Payal's sake. Moreover both of them want to trap Shyam and decide to work together to expose him in a manner which will not hurt Anjali.

So the two people who are very much in love with each other cannot openly declare their love because they are busy trying to convince both themselves and each other that this is only a pretense marriage which they will have to live up to in front of their families. This pretense marriage though is going to be a tough ride for both of them because their feelings always are on the verge of erupting. We may get to see some very intense scenes as they keep battling their feelings for each other and pretend they are unaffected. If the pretense marriage is born of hate (Arnav continuing to misunderstand her), we may see sharp transitions in his emotional state from hate to love and love to hate depending on who is in front of them - love in public and hate in private. If the pretense marriage is born of the deep concern for their siblings, this couple will try to hide their love for each other because of the uncertainty of what the other feels. We will see a lot of awkwardness, bickering (to cover up their true feelings), subtle display of love when they think the other is not aware and open display of love in front of their families.In both the scenarios, if Shyam tries to hurt Khushi, Arnav will always protect her.

Both the scenarios fit with the tag line 'Mohabat door jane na de, Nafrat pass aane na de'. Only difference is that in the second scenario, nafrat is Arnav's nafrat for Shyam which is keeping him from his beloved.

Either way we are in for an exciting storyline which will see the blooming of Arshi's love story.

I don't know, but I can't accept the sham wedding. Khushi is a girl of principles and I can't believe she would do it. Plus Payal and Akash are already married in the promo. Something else has to happen. All the spoilers say they will marry and Star Plus is not the kind of channel to show an 8pm slot with a couple clearly not married. They will share such close proximity that I can't believe it will be fake. Khushi is just not that type. Plus they have already gone the live-in route with LA and they didn't even share a room. I just don't know, but maybe you're right.

The CVs are going to want to show right out of the shower scenes, bed scenes, accidental bump into's, etc. I just can't believe they will freely show that without the benefit of marriage.

And if the marriage is fake, I for one will stop watching this show. Forcing Khushi to do something like that which we know is clearly against her principles would be character assassination for me and I would be done. Just saying.
